medicine in the bathtub huh. never heard of that one. honestly since my kids run away, i feel physically holding them down reduces messes sometimes, but that's just me. i'd say...advice would be...SLEEP as much as you can when you can. you'll need it, especially when new born. Drink Milk (if you can, if not soy milk) the baby gets eveything first so take care of yourself. oh...DIAPER PAIL!!! for potty training parents. when they soil their underwear get a box of rubber gloves, disposable kind, and just hold your kids dirty poo-poo underwear in the toilet and flush it a couple of times. cleans most of it away and then you're ready for the stain treatment and wash.

I do the undies in the toilet thing too..lol Tip: when they first start self feeding, strip them down to their diapers and let them go at it. (easier to put a naked baby in the tub then one that has to be stripped of the messy clothing first) Covering the floor around the highchair helps too.

Have a schedule. If you have one and stick to it your toddler will know when it is time to do a certain thing. For instance my son always naps at 1(though for some reason he is not today!) and goes to bed a 9. At one and nine he gets tired because he is so used to going to sleep at those times. I never thought to give medicine in the bathtub. That is a good tip, thanks!
