How old were you when you had your first crush?

I was about 10 when I had my first crush. The boy was my neighbor and he was one year older then me. I remember I thought he was so cute! He asked me to be his girlfriend and we held hands. Cute memory to look back on.

I crushed a lot, most were small ones. i think the ones i remember, i was in 2nd grade or so. i had a guy who was a friend and i wanted to hang out with another guy, a little blond boy with curly hair. where i grew up it was pretty rare. so my friend got a little upset that i kept hanging around with this other guy. i remember BOTH of their names, the guy i crushed on moved away during 5th grade and i graduated with the guy who used to be my friend. we weren't close, but we still hugged each other at graduation day because we did remember that we were friends long ago.

This a cute experience, JannaLee. My first crushes were a little different than your average girls. I have 3 older sisters, all a good bit older than me. I always developed crushes on their boy-friends. I was too young to understand why they quit coming around after breaking up with my sisters. I would think, "don't they still want to see me???"

I was in the 3rd grade (age 7 I think) when I had my first real crush. I thought he was so cute and we got to know each other a little bit. Unfortunately he was the cutest boy in the classroom and every girl liked him. We talked for a little bit and found out he had a crush on me too. We pretended to be husband and wife one day in class but that was the extent of that. lol. He left the school after that year and I was sad for a bit, but being a kid of course I got over it. Ironically, I ran into him a couple months back for my friend's graduation in Tallahassee and I saw him. It was the most random encounter but we talked for a while and it was good catching up to him.

When i was had my first crush i was 11 years old. im on grade V1 and he was my classmate, he is cute and handsome. Come from rich family, but he is older than me. But i hate him, he is so bully and nasty. But now im happily married to wonderful man. Happy myloting!

I had a crush when I was 5 years old and all the grownups around me made jokes about it. I'm really regrettful in not remembering who this girl was or knowing where she is now because I consider it a special thing at a special time of my life.

As far as I can remember, I was 5-6 years old when I had a crush to someone aging 20-25 I think...hahahaha. I liked him coz he got a nice smile and eyes plus he is a good basketball player. Gosh! I can't believe I was flirting at that young age! hahaha..The last time we saw each other I was in college already. I didn't noticed him that much coz he was already old..lol. But he was amazed when he saw me! He said I changed a lot except I didn't get taller...lol. I had also a crush when I was 15 and he was in the middle of 20s too. Same reason why I had a crush on him, his smile, his teeth and his teeth. I was disappointed that he didn't court me! hahaha..I thought it might be coz of my cousins, that are his close friends. He courted my cousin and became his gf but their relationship didn't work. After how many years past, we saw each other again just this year! We had a chance to talk and he confronted me. He said, he felt the same way for me and so eager to court me but the thing stopped him I was too young that time. And still feel the same way until now coz he is still single at the age of 32!!!!! But I refused, I said no coz I am already engaged and leaving to US soon. He was disappointed, we were still friends though! And I am happy with my marriage life now. I know he is happy for me too.

I was I think in my +1 at school when I meet her in a religious place in the evening prayer. I use to go the place every day. When we first meet she caught my eyes and in the first look I was stuck. We use to meet and little talk. After a year I went out in search of job and after few years when I returned she had taken some technical course in a different city.

My first crush was my classmate in preschool. I was 7 years old then. He is a smart kid and i really admired him because he is neat as well. Then i started losing interest over him and i had a crush on someone else. A classmate of mine. I had several crushes actually. Some were celebrities and some were classmate and schoolmate.

Strange cases all over, but I havn't got yet, very cute responses too, some getting at young ages, amazing to read. This discussion is not for me yet, hope I may return back.

Hi Janna! I like your name. :-) I started having a crush when I was 8 years old. He's the son of my mom's friend. I remember being so excited whenever their family would come to visit. I would put on my best clothes and I would just sit there staring at him. I didn't know what I was feeling back then, I just know that I feel so happy when I see him. I easily got over that first crush and eventually moved on to having more crushes. :-)

I love the first time in the first year junior high school. I do not even remember the age.But I remember that in romantic affairs. It is unforgettable!Now all become a memory.

I was 6 years old in the 1st grade. I used to leave yes/No love notes on his desk every morning. We became good friends and used to trade video games. Then I changed schools in the 4th grade. We ended up seeing each other in junior high where my best friend had him in all of her classes. I never told her about our elementary school days (we went to private school and she didn't), to make a long story short... she ended up professing her love for him in front of the entire school. - Nothing became of it though. I didn't care, we were just cool by then, and he wasn't so hot anymore. - It's just a small world...LOL *** I can still remember the first love song I recited to him the 2nd grad ***

I was 22 years-of-age when I had my first real crush. No joke. Before this, I was attracted to certain guys, but I was never really in love with any of them.

i had my first crush when i was still in elementary..grade 5..his name is gerald...he was so cute, i really thought at that time that he was the cutest guy ever...up until now i still could not forget his smile and his face...that was ages ago.LOL!

I had my first crush when I was in Grade 2. She's so beautiful that I really courted her through drawings with "I love you" written on it. I didn't mind sending her "love notes" even inside classrooms during classes. My classmates would help me out who will pass my letter from one to the other until it reaches her. And every time it does, she would stare at me madly and will send me her own letter, again passing it on through my classmates, telling me unpleasant words. Unfortunately, there was one instance that my teacher caught the letter I made as my classmates are passing it through and we ended up at the principal's office.

i was probably about 10 or 11. i was not much into boys until then and then only slightly. i was still very shy and sheltered so i had a crush from afar but whenever the boy was around i would go inside because i was so nervous! oh to be young...

my first crush was my second degree cousin when i was still 6. honestly. lol. he was even about 14 years old that time and i totally liked him coz hes cute. funny thing i dont bug him a lot (like most children do to their older cousins) coz i was actually shy when hes around. we never really got closer coz they moved out and transferred to a different place to live, thats all i can remember. now i havent seen him for ages haha :)
