Coloring

I used to love colouring when I was a girl.
Two of my children love to colour as well.
One of my children showed me her patten the other day and it was one of those patterens, when you put the pencil on the paper and just draw lots of swirls/circles and don't take the pencil off the paper until you join it to the spot you started and then you colour in the spaces but you mustn't put the same colours together. She was most surprised when I told her thats what I used to do when I was a girl. I then just had to do one and colour it in as well

I loved to colour in too, I was always drawing or colouring in something. It always amuses me when I tell my kids about something they have or do that I used to have or do when I was little. They are always so surprised as if they cannot believe that I would have had toys or television.

Awww Anne18 you are such a kid!!
Keeps you young though doesn't it. I too like to colour but I am really crap at drawing. One of my kids had one of those painting books that you paint by wetting the paintbrush and it colours it in by itself. Well I was showing my son what to do followed by c'mon mum I wanna do it now, I know how to do it now, mummy please can I do it now!!

I rember doing that to when we went to florida it was an 8 hour drive so we got the girls coloring books an yes i got me one to

When I was younger I whould sit at the table and color I loved coloring books

You and me both! And I'm completely unashamed about my ever-growing collection of colouring books. In fact, I think I'll sign off and go and do some now.
