For me my weight gain is not about what I eat but what I drink. I drink a lot of coke and sweet tea. Both filled with sugar. Whenever I want to loose a few extra pounds I stop drinking coke and sweet tea. I drink mostly flavored water, since I am not a big fan of plain water.
I also go from eating 3 full meals to 6 small meals a day. Since I am eating something every couple of hours, I am not starving and I don't need a big meal to be satisfied.
My schedule is pretty busy so I find that for exercise I can do 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening.

Cutting off soda (includes diet) is one of the ones that helped me cut back on some of the weight. When it comes to eating beef like hamburgers, my parents will buy the 80 percent lean. I am considering switching to sorbet or just eating jello if I really need to have something sweet. I am also trying to get back to eating breakfast in the morning.

I am not"overweight" at least not to me lol but I would love to shed some belly fat. I seriously think I will try the cutting out soda thing because it is one of my no no's. Is diet soda in your opinion not any better though? I think I drink it more for caffeine then anything because I cannot stand coffee. Any ideals how to ween myself from soda without feeling the crash of being with less caffeine?

I eat a little less bread. I drink a little more water. I try and watch my portions. Spending a bit more time on the treadmill is helpful too.
