Over 2 cents a post so far....

I just noticed today that I have been here for over 3 months and have yet to do 50 replies/discussions. So it would seem that I am averaging a little over 2.3 cents per post.
First of all, I am not here for the money. I think that should be obvious by my membership time to posting number ratio. The reason I bring it up, is because I have seen many who are in here (basically for the money) with around a thousand posts and they are asking when they will reach payout.
I'm not entirely sure of the paying rate in here, not really interested, but I'm almost certain the information is guarded to prevent cheating.
I just find it curious that with the current rate of earnings, I will be able to cash-out somewhere between 400 and 450 postings.
I have discovered one simple little thing (actually it is written in the terms, FAQ's or guidelines - don't remember which), but the whole concept here is to create a QUALITY community. Striving for such, it would seem to be apparent that what pays more is quality content, useful information, and anything which promotes a friendly comfortable atmosphere.
OK, I'm through with my meanderings for the day - back to the endless 1/2 penny posts looking for information on which color of toothbrush you prefer.... or maybe the once in lifetime opportunity to get scammed as someones refferal in a brand new PTC site...
I love this place at times °_°

Hello the52poet! I am here for money too. In some of my discussions, I stated that the first thing that made me join here is the dollar sign on my sisters profile. Although it won't make me rich, i will still be rich with ideas and friends.

I too sometimes wonder about the criteria in earning here in mylot. I'm not really that active and only get to post and join discussions an average of twelve a day. I havent even reached 50 cents a day. But nevertheless im still happy with mylot. You not only get to earn money, you also get to meet alot of interesting people and join relevant discussions. I guess it's important that you do post quality discussions because you get more responses. The more response, the better.

well if you think more of the money then the longer you get there. just have fun participating in the discussions at first and until you get the hang of it. before, i really really wanted to earn fast here in myLot, it gets me frustrated everytime i see my earnings, now that i consider earning from the discussions i participate in just a side bonus, it makes me happier just to see my earnings increase 5 cents in a day. i tried it once, when i just posted like 5 questions that day and didn't participate in the discussions, the following day i saw that i earned 12 cents, i can't really conclude but think you earn more if you post questions especially if they're interesting and a lot of myLotters respond to your questions.

I love this place. I am one of those you said who are here for the money.
And yes, myLot guidelines/FAQs said they pay for quality.
The more quality that our post has, the more we earn.
Quality translates to how many responses a discussion receives. I think that is quality.
That is why the more responses your discussion receives, the more you earn.
Have a nice day!

I'm here for the money but I stay for the interesting, quality discussions. I think of it as I'm getting paid for my quality responses and comments, and I do not want to disappoint! Plus it disgusts me when people can't write 3 sentences, let alone spell properly. We're not getting paid for text messaging!
