I have been working very hard to keep trim and have come to love healthy snacks. It seems like most of my faves are protein based: Ants on A Log: Celery, penut butter, and rasins Desert: nuts, rasins and chocolate chips Any ideas?

Since you like peanut butter I would recommend popping some popcorn (no butter) while it is popping, get a small sauce pan and over low heat warm up some peanut butter, about 1/3cup add about 2tsps of honey. Once it is heated and has turned into a creamy texture pour over popcorn and mix with wooden spoon. It's kinda messy, but healthy and kids also love it!

There are some excellent vegan cookies on the market that are both nutritious and delicious. I also love certain fresh fruits such as blueberries, bananas and strawberries. Dehydrated fruits are also a good choice-- especially if you prepare them yourself.

You dehydrate your own fruit? You are a better man than I am Wilson. I am a huge fan of dried fruit. I make my own trail mix (a recipe from the abs diet). I love using different dried fruits. This little shop in town sells dried blueberries. I mix them with pecans and I call it my blueberry pancake mix. SOOOO GOOOOOD.

Of course fruit is important, but I also like organic veggies sticks, they are a corn type snack. I also like yogurt and seeds and nuts.

When I was on a diet I loved to cut up apples and bananas into bite size pieces put them in a bown and then stir eiter low fat or fat free cool whip into it and enjoy. The low fat taste alot better and it is only about 40 calories per half cup if I remember right.

That is a good tip. P.S. I have been doing a half Hershey's Syrup serving (45 calories and too delicious).

Eating healthy does not mean having to give up on taste. It is better to have an in between healthy snack rather then munching on chips and eating junk. You could try healthy wraps for instance, a lot of vegetable (of your choice) and some chicken or sausages to add to the taste. It is absolutely great. i really want to start eating more fresh fruit, but where i live it's so darn expensive. they had seedless watermelons at the grocery store today for only $2.99 for a whole one. so i bought one and cut it up and it filled up a pretty big container....it should last a few days. i'm probably going to go have some right now.

I like to eat fruits when I am hungry and its not eating time. As for other stuff, a lot of granola bars since they are like a pump of energy for me since my job requires a lot of movement ^^ So yeah a lot of snacks for me =D
