Maybe you are partly right because I've seen that in my children. My two daughter seems to be more caring especially now that I'm sick.Although my two son tries their best to please me now but my daughters caring is much more than my son.Of course people is not the same other son maybe more caring.

It's true Daughters have a more sense of responsibility for their parents because she is a women who by nature is birthgiving . It is some what in built in girls .It is as she watches her mother take on all the responsibility of the house the children ,so she grows up in that atmosphere and is truely a DARLING.

Makes me think of a quote an older friend told me a few years back. "A daughter's a daughter all of her life but a son is a son until he takes him a wife." I have one of each. I love them both dearly. I am closer to my daughter, but don't love my son any less or feel that he is really any less caring. We bring our sons up, or we seem to, instilling a sense of responsibility for the women in their lives. So if they seem to care less about us it is most likely because they have had this instilled in them from a young age. Once they have their own wife/girlfriend/family to nurture and protect they tend to seem less attached to us than our daughters do. We (society) have taught them to be this way. Even though my son seems less attached and far more independant I know that if I need him he is there. And I know he still loves me.
