Hi there, after reading topics like 2012, watching x-files etc I have a question - if you know pricisely and ultimately that there is going to be an unavoidable global catastrophe which most likely none can survive, for exapmple you've calculated that at xx/xx/xxxx sun is going to explode and you're the only onwner of this information and the decision maker - would YOU release this thruth to the public? And why so?
Sorry for a scary subject.

I would definitely TRY to but the odds of being taken seriously are pretty high! There have been many, many people from Nostradamus to Scientists and Religious Zealots throughout history that have claimed the world would end at a particular time and so far no-one has ever been accurate thankfully! My claims would more than likely be discounted as well.

Thank you James, for sharing your thoughts. Hopefully these people (Nostradamus et al) will go on to be wrong :-) What I'm asking is just a psychological question about people's behaviour under great responsibility in a hypothetical (fortunatelly) situation.

If I did know I wouldn't release it for safety reasons because people might overract but to answer the question about a global catastrophe they will probly be one one day but the only one that knows when someone will happen is god not even scientists or anyone else could say when something is going to happen because god is the only one that knows what is going to happen and when the world is going to end. I have been reading a lot of people talk about 2012 but to say the truth no one knows for sure what is going to happen only god knows we could end up having a catastrophe tomorrow and nobody would know its all things I dont even think about because when the time comes it will come without any warnings at all.

Hi, Holv03, thank you for responding. As for me I probably not release it either for the same reason as you. If panic begins, the catastrophe comes earlier. I agree with the rest you said also. Hopefully many good days're still coming :-)
