Hi friends, I have something question to you all. Last minutes, I don't have something to do while I'm online. Then I remember the "wanted" movie. I see the actor search the name himself on google and the result is zero. He can't found his name in the internet. So the movie inspirate me, I try it and search with google and yahoo.
But the two search engine give me a different result, The google give a good result, my name is show in four rows. It show in my three blog, one friendster account. In yahoo, I can't find any site related with my real name.
So do you ever search it ? and what result you get ? Do you hope that you name will shown in many site ?
Thank's for the willing time to read and respond my discussion.

I don't have enough of a history to find my name on the web. I did however search for a musical group and I wrote a CD review on them and it showed my name, that was kinda cool but if you search pics under my name there are a whole lot of goofballs out there that have my name.

You don't need much of a history for something to show up. If you signed up to at least one thing it will come up if you search your name.

I think we all would have done this at some time or another! When I search for my own full name I come up with a very varied list of results. Many are related to me personally because of events I have attended, articles or releases I have had published or because of my presence on a number of business networking sites. There also seem to be a number of people in history that share the same name; and one guy that is involved in the gospel "industry" somewhere in the UK with the same name also!

Oh, yes, I've done it before. But, I'm an artist and I have my own web pages and have been featured on other websites. It's important that I get my name out there so that my work is in demand.

Yes, I have searched for my name and I found out that I am an actress in Hollywood! Funny thing though the lady's picture at www.imdb.com does not look a thing like me, nor have I ever received any pay for any of her work.
Hmm...makes you wonder if any credit card companies, etc. ever confuse me with her!
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I cannot say that I didn't because I have. I bet over 90% people who are active online have searched there name up either on an online encyclopedia, search engine, or youtube.
It's nothing to be ashamed off because we're all showing curiosity.

I searched my real name and got my address plus the addresses of the other people with the same first and last name as me. Since I was a correction officer for my county and taught state prisoners, this upset me greatly. I asked the site to remove my address. Reminds me, I need to double check to see if they did this or not. Thanks

They also may have bought my name and address from a junk mail listing, too. I just don't need it on the internet.

As a joke I decided to search for my name and, interestingly enough I did find someone with my name. This is very unusual because my last name is really my middle name and it has an unusual spelling to it, but, this woman had the exact name and spelling as mine! I was very surprised!
Next, I decided to see what comes up with my username because I use my username more than my real name and I'm on so many sites, forums and blogs I figured something might have leaked out! LOL! No such luck. Everytime I search for my username I always get a famous actress playing the part of my username! Oh well!

I did that a couple of times. I have an uncommon name but I never see anything about me. Its always someone else. Not many people have my name though.
