PANCIT or SPAGHETTI?????

spaghetti for me !!

Spaghetti all the way! I eat pancit every once in a while but I am more of a spaghetti girl. My mom loves pancit over spaghetti though but we outnumber her cos my brother and I loves spaghetti, especially if it's homemade by my aunt. We always have it on our birthday and during Christmas.

truth be told, i eat more spaghetti then i do pancit. its more like a family get together meal with the big gatherings with my grand parents and since i don't live there anymore, i don't really see them. so the only time i can have pancit would be if i make it. it will depend fully on you. since i don't have pancit that often i'd may lean towards that. what i asked my sister for on my birthday was chow fun though...i was happy when she made it.

well, i want spaghetti.. but i also want pancit!hahaha well, cant really tell what i want..if there is spaghetti, i get some.. and get some pancit as well..hehehe but i always prepare spaghetti whenever a member in the family celebrate his or her birthday! and with spaghetti, there is always fruit salad to pair it with!

I like spaghetti, but there are some versions of pancit that will really catch your attention. Right now i'm thinking of a pancit I ate that was filled with large and delicious noodles, and lots of vegetables and meat. Spaghetti cannot really beat the feel of Pancit but too bad it takes a good pancit maker to outdo a spaghetti which everyone can do and will taste like a common spaghetti will. But on the other hand, not every one who makes pancit can make delicious pancit!

Hi! Spaghetti for long life... FOR LIFE!!! lol.. I am a certified spaghetti lover. If there's no spaghetti, pancit is the only choice left for me. So I can't do anything about it except eat it.

I love both but I really like more pancit than spaghetti especially cooked by my mother. Yeah, kinda became a tradition particularly among old families to cooked either these two on birthday occasion, saying it signifies long life. I remember that my mom always cooked either pancit or spaghetti to us siblings on our birthday. Even now, she still did this, kinda became common to see pancit in the table on our birthday.

i don't know what pancit is? please enlightenme.

Well for long life, take care of your health! That is my honest opinion Dong Ha!ha!ha! But if you will ask me which I prefer... of course just like kids, I will choose spaghetti! For one, I have already mastered cooking it. Let me cook Spaghetti and even if my eyes are blindfolded I can still come up with the best Spaghetti you will ever taste (Oh that's boastfulness! Sorry but that is true! Ha!ha!ha!) Pancit is very hard for me to cook, I can't really come up with a real good one. I don't even know how much water will I use. So I choose Spaghetti no for long life because I don't believe in that but rather because I can cook the best Spaghetti ever. Believe it or not!

Well I ate both of them but I still prefer Spaghetti specially with meatballs. I like pancit also with calamansi hehehe.

PANCIT. Sure, spaghetti is tasty and I love me some once in a while, but in my experience, there are just more to taste in pancit, there are a lot of variations to the recipe and it's quite healthy too. Plus, with the many ingredients that pancit is composed of, the variety in pancit hardly tastes the same. Spaghetti, while tasting good in its many incarnations, tend to taste the same to me.

for me , it's any of the two....as long as it tastes good.

For me i still pancit is the best for birthday celebration & because it is already a tradtional way how to cook pancit & how to serve specially in the birthday.

Well whan I was little I would definitely loved to eat spaghetti. I really do not know whay it appealed to me during those days. But now I think I pretty much prefer Pancit as I like the taste better than Spaghetti. I guess I am getting older now.

I have always been a "spaghetti" person. I love pasta more than the traditional "pancit" we serve on birthdays. My Mother is a "pancit" person so she always insists to have them every birthday celebrations. So most of the time we have both. Have a long Life!! hahahah

I love both.You made me crave for pancit while i read your discussion.I really miss it.Its really different in my country.We have here in the US.They call it chow mein but its kinda sweet.I know alot would prefer spaghetti but for me i would want both.

This is a difficult choice! I really like both and I usually eat them both a lot even if it's not my birthday. I think the best noodles for long life would be the birthday noodles that they serve at Chinese restaurants. At a lot of birthday celebrations of my older relatives, they usually have this dish.
