First I am not a good swimmer! But I prefer to be in the fresh water because it so refreshing especially when its summer, same in the swimmimg pool! I am scared to swim in the ocean because its so big! And there is sharks or jelly fish or something. What about you? Which one do you prefer?

I have never been in a swimming pool and I'm not that excited about going into one. I'm more of a nature lover so waterfall, river and the ocean will be my choice.

Most of all I adore swimming in a warm tropical sea with a white sandy beach and gently waving palm trees. I really enjoy snorkeling around a coral reef to see colorful coral and friendly fish. It is wonderful to swim in calm water. I am not fond of rough water when I am swimming but watching waves can be enjoyable. In my home country even in the summer the sea water is too cold for me to want to go swimming so I have to swim in and indoor swimming pool. I adore swimming in fresh water like a refreshing waterfall in Australia or cool lake in Finland after a hot sauna of course. I have snorkeled with small sharks and sting rays, a turtle, a manta ray and some dolphins. Experiences like that are special because I love nature. I think the larger sharks wouldn't get past the edge of the coral reef. Near the shore is the safest place to swim in the ocean and I have snorkeled in deep water so it was lucky I didn't meet any large sharks or stinging box jellyfish.

Hi, Wow you been snorkeling with small sharks, sting rays, and the others that must be a lot of fun! To be honest I don't think I can do that I'll be too scared. Watching a big wave and sit on the sand it is fun for me! I think it will be better for someone like me to swim near the shore just to be safe! Thank you for a lovely sharing and for the response.

For me it is a pool all the way. I am not comfortable thinking about animals in the water with me. My mom lives in Florida. There are always shark warnings. That is not for me.

I would have to go with the swimming pool because it is safe and clean, because swimming in the ocean is sometimes a drad because of all the trash and waste that you could find floating on the water, but fresh water swiiming is a good one too, just like you said it is pretty refreshing and there seems to be no sign of waste or trash in it when i tried swimming in one.Hope you liked my response, have a nice day.

Hi hiphopburiki, yes of course I like your response and thank you very much . I think not all the ocean are dirty or trash floating onto the water, maybe you just have to go to nice beach! And I agree that swimmimg in the pool is safer. Fresh water is good for swimmimg in my opinion. You have a nice day also .

I prefer a swimming pool. I can see what is there. The water temperature can be controlled. I know it is clean. I swim quite well. I enjoy diving and jumping into a pool. I don't have to worry about what is underneath the water that could hurt me.

I like to swim in fresh water, but sometimes i get scared when i cannot see what's beneath. I also like to swim in the beach but i don't go farther than three meters from the shore. I always swim in the pool. As long as it's a clean pool. It is safer and it always looks inviting to me. I prefer swimming in the pool, especially when my kids are with me.
