I began babysitting and earning my own spending money at age 11. By age 15, I got working papers and got my first "real job". I'm 52 and have been working ever since. I took some classes but always around my job. I have 4 children and all of them began working around 16. I have a 14 year old that is wanting to work but has so far been unable to find a job. Surely you must have done some work before 24 years old...right?

I started babysitting when I was 12 years old and have worked on different jobs for at least 48 years.. I had one job for 17 years and another for 12 years, but now I work for myself.. I had a couple of jobs that lasted less than 5 years but my husband was my main support, so I could do the type work that I wanted too, without having to be tied down to any one job.. I enjoy working and have worked more than one job at a time.. I like to keep busy and make money at the same time..

Hi there lily3753!
I started working immediately after graduation. I was 21 years old then. It was really a fun experience. When I started teaching (in college), most of my students were almost about my age. Others were even older than I am. Now that I am also teaching in the graduate school, most of my students are way older than I am.

I started when I was 18. I was in rather a muddle about what I wanted to do because I wanted to go in the navy but I lost a leg when I was 14 so that was out. I had no qualifications and I was disabled. I retired at 65. I was never out of work and a now have a law degree plus several work related qualifications. I have been married for 51 years with 4 children and 5 grandchildren so despite some mistakes I reckon I did not do too bad

I started working when I was 19 years old. I hadn't graduated from college yet - I dropped out. After one year I became a working student, working 8 hours in the daytime, schooling at night.

I started working at the age of 22 after i had graduated in college. I took a couple of months to look for a nice job. Looking for a job makes me realize that its not easy to have a job nowadays.
