Turn Left or Turn Right?

often, when u taking an escalator or lift, when arrive at your destinated floor, u will immediately turn left or turn right?Or, when u come out of your house, u will immediately turn left or right? For me, most of the time i turn left ^_^ if u dunno abt it, try it and then let me know ^_^ Thankz

I turn to wherever I know my destination is.
For example, when I come home, I turn right coming out of the elevator, because my door is on the right. When I come out of the apartment building, I turn left, because that's the way to the subway.
I don't know which side I turn when I go somewhere I've never been before, I didn't notice this aspect.

i got this question is becoz one day i sit on a bench at the shopping mall beside the escalotor, then i noticed that some ppl tend to turn left more and some ppl tend to turn right, regardless their destinated store to go...what i mean is, for exmaple, 10 ppl wanna go to a gift store which located on the right hand side, some ppl will turn right and go directly, some ppl will unconsciously turn left 1st and then walk a while then turn to the gift shop ^_^
this is what i observed, hahhaha, i think i'm kinda boring that time, so just do a mini survey...

Good Question!
I will definitely turn left, when coming out of an escalator. Also, most of the time, when coming out of my office room and my house, I turn left, instead of going right. But I was wondering how did you make such an 'interesting' observation? Is there any logical reasons behind it?

hahhaha, being a long time didn't post at mylot ^_^ miss all of mylot's friends so much ^_^ hahhahah, i just simply boring one day and watched ppl going different direction after come out from the lift, and then i had this little thought, and i tried myself, and the result was, i turn left more often than right ^_^

Hi,
If I immediately turn a certain direction, that is because I know that is where I am going.
Another possibility is that my body has been so conditioned to move that direction because I have been to that place so many times.
An example I can think of is at the train station. I tend to always walk certain ways because I used to take trains a lot in the past. So sometimes when I am going to a different place that lies in a different direction, I might simply wait at the wrong place for the train!

i believe i turn right more. have to turn right to get in my car.are u left-handed? i'm so right -handed it's pitaful.

hmmmmm this question will be for me because in my building in my right side it will be the elevator, so i keep walking in the right side because it will be near to the elevator not in the stair.

For my house, i will always turn left to the lift, and when i come out from the lift, it depends on which lift i take, and i have to turn different directions.. hehe ^_^
But when it comes to a strange place, i will turn left because i'm a lefty.. haha ^_^ Thus, left is the more nautral side of me.. hehe

It really depends on which is nearer to my destination. I try to get to my destination at the shortest time and to do that you must know the shortest distance between them. So for me it really depends.

Another left or right discussion. But it very good topic. I never think that this two word is always we do in our life.
According to me, I always turn left when I reach the destination floor. because the next escalator to go up to the next floor is locate in the left. When in my house, I do it equal, I'm not prefer it one.
