Have any of you tried the writing site Oboulo.com?

I came across the site a day or so ago. Oboulo.com seems to be especially good for students. They pay $10 per accepted article/term paper/research paper/thesis/proposal, etc. Additionally, if you register and insert an ambassador code (babab7), you'll get $15 per document accepted. They're not limited to the US and pay via check, PayPal and a couple of other methods. I'm not currently in school so it's not a natural fit for me, but it might work out well for students and other folks.

Hmm, haven't heard of it before you mentioned it, and then I went to take a look. It appears to have quite a lot of grmmar mistakes and weird sentence strutures that would indicate that the site adminstration don't appear to have a good grasp of English. While on most sites I would consider this a minor issue, on a site dedicated to writing and which has been around for 3 years, it raises a red flag for me. While not something that I can point to and say "Scam!" but it's certainly not a good sign.

The site is translated into several languages since it is not a US only site. That might account for the English spelling and grammar mistakes.

1. Like I pointed out, the site has been around for 3 years, they certainly do have a lot of time to fix those. 2. For their top 10 most popular "experts", there's someone earning a whooping $10. A top 10 most popular expert earning $10, on a site that says it has been around for 3 years 3. Check out their most popular article Business case Study: Panera Bread Tell me, how well written do you think it is?

I just checked out the site, and from what I can see, it looks like a whole lot of research and work for very little pay. 10 page research papers with bibliography for $10- that's ridiculous. Students writing papers like that take hours, weeks even, so it hardly seems worth $10. In addition, the papers are available for sale. Though they don't come out and say it, it appears that students could purchase these papers and turn them in as their own work for a class. That is cheating, it's plagiarism, and I am not going to be a part of it.

According to their website, the documents are to be used as reference material: "The documents published online are meant only for reference purposes."
