How old were you when you got married?

I just got married last month and I'm 28.

Just as I planned I got married when I was 26, same age as my husband. This for me is the best age to get married. I wanted to get married at 26 so I can have a child before I turn 28. Indeed I got married at 26 but I had my first child when I was 29. So, things always don't turn out as planned. :-)

I was 25 when I got married to my husband. At that time my husband was 31. It means he is 6 years older than me. Just curious, why did you get married at such an early age? Didn't you feel as if you have lost your teenagers years and your enjoying time are now limited. But yeah, everything happened has a reason behind it. As long as you are happy, nothing else matters. Having a happy family is the most important thing in life.

I was 24 years old when I got married. Looking back I think I was young at that age. However I do think that it is good to get married young so that you have kids when you are young and is able to deal and cope with them. © ronaldinu 2008

My husband and I were both 20 when we got married. He and I are only 3 months apart. I don't regret getting married young. A lot of people said we would never make it. We have been married 7 years now and have 3 beautiful kids. I think having kids so soon after getting married made things a little harder, but we still have made it through.

Well about getting married, maybe im on my right age when i get married lolz. I was 23 that time, still at school and still i can managed it well. Im one year married now and just celebrated our wedding anniversary. Happy myloting!

I got married pretty late . . . well not that late. My husband was 20 and I was 28. Didn't do me any good waiting that long though. He left after 15 years of marriage. Ah sadness. But we had good times and we both love our kids.

snap!!! i was 19 and my husband was 20 when we got married. we had been going out for exactly 5 months or 20 weeks, when we got wed. we got engaged to each other after a fortnight of going out together. in october of this year, we will have been married 41 years. pretty good huh! but truthfully, we have had lot of ups and downs. we have one son, but sadly lost another, we row like cat and dog but have stuck together through ' better or worse' just like our marriage vows. But our son got married, he did live with his lady for 6 years, before getting married. but sadly their marriage was over within a year. what can i say accept i was totally gutted. but i hope your marriage is happy and long lived
