My Dog died last week.....

and i still cant get over it. He had such a painful death, seems like somebody had poisoned him! The sad part is that i was not there when he died and i still feel that he wanted t see me before finally closing his eyes. I know this sounds funny but that is how i feel and it hurts so much to think about him. He was a part of my family and we all liked him a lot but look at his misfortune, he died when nobody was around him. Have you lost a ppet that you loved dearly??? Do you still think about that pet??

I still have the photographs fixed in my room of my 13 yr old dog who passed away last summer. Yes my eyes still get red and watery whenever I think of it. We had a splendid 13 years together I wished they could last longer but unfortunately a dog's life is short compared to us. Treasure the beautiful moments that you had together.

oh, that's a bad news. i haven't had pet yet, a kitty for couple of days, i send to another, i think i can't feed a pet by myself, and i can't stand that if it die. don't be so sad, i think it is in heaven now, and have more fun there.

Oh that is so sad, I am sorry, it is awful when you lose a pet it can be the same as when you lose a family member, pets can be like your children, I have had two cats die, one i had for 17years and one I had for a couple of years and I still think of them a lot...I hope you get another dog it will be good for you.

i dont know if i can get another dog cause i am scared that they too would die someday. I have lost 3 dogs in a span of 15 years cant think of loosing some more. I am sorry for your loss, i understand how it feels. When i had lost the second dog i couldn;'t eat for about a week , thinking about him all the time. Yes they do become a part of our family.

Hi....aww.... I understand how you feel. Because my dog (the one on my profile photo) passed away 14 Feb 08 this year...ya Valentine's day after 2 weeks of liver illness. My husband and I watched her die and we were both crying and crying even after the coroner came to take her away to be cremated we cried for two days. After that we got over it. But she is still in our thougths very much as she was part of the family. I still miss her very much though its been 7 months since she passed away. Every night she used to come into our room (cause we don't close the door) and just go to her own little corner and sleep there. She looks like a little piece of carpet on the floor...
