for me depends on the food. I like it in Chinese and Italian foods, but I just don't think garlic would taste right on a hot dog.

I love garlic and love to cook with it! I almost always put it on chicken and in barbeque sauces. I like to use fresh garlic over powder, but use that as well. Try roasting garlic in a pan and chopping it up and put on fresh pasta. Yummy!

we love garlic in food! we put garlic in any chance we get. If garlic will taste good in it then we put it in. and there isn't too much that we eat that wouldn't taste good with garlic in it. we don't eat chinese food so I don't know if it would taste good or not.

Actually, that doesnt sound too bad to me. It would probably make the hot dog healthier. I am a big fan of garlic particularly on Italian and Greek foods. It is really good tasting and good for you as well.

Well, i actually agree with you - it depends on the food. I like it in green pee, fish and kebab. I believe i like it in other foods as well, but i can't recall them right now - i agree i wouldn't like it on a hot dog

Garlic to me makes almost any kind of dish taste better, especially when it is fried and served as topping/flavor. It is best when garlic is sauted with onion in sauces, and stir fry dishes. But with hot dog, i think garlic is good if mixed in the sauce for your hotdog.

I am not sure where i stand actually regarding this garlic thingy. It does not smell good when we had too much of it but after reading a few articles regarding garlic, I prefer to put much garlic in my food. Garlic will release a chemical after the skin has been 'taken out' and this chemical, if i am not mistaken, the allavin, is very good for our heart, im terms of cholesterol busting. Therefore, it can be summarised that the usage of garlic in my food is merely for its health benefits.

I use a lot of garlic in my cooking. They have a beautiful aroma that makes any food taste and smell better. I will normally fry a lot of garlic to be sprinkled on soups. Garlic has got its medicinal value, it lowers BP but raw taste of garlic is horrible. I normally take garlic tablet.

I love garlic... I loved it since I was a child... One of the reasons why I take 2 - 3 showers a day, lol... I put garlic on practically everything I eat... Ok, granted that there are some food that just don't go right with garlic... But in most cases, I do... I agree with you in that with most of the Italian and/or Chinese food, garlic is one of the basic ingridients... Hotdog & garlic, you kidding? That's the best combination of hotdog...

Garlic is very good for the heart and for lowering cholesterol. Hence I very regularly use it. I use it in chicken, soups and Italian food too.

Yup, they give a flavour to the dishes - better taste! I haven't tried it on hot dogs before; I would like to give it a try. Though I would most probably fry the garlic first before eating with the hot dog.

The only way I like garlic is crushed, fried and toasted brown and crunchy. That's how I do it with every dish that requires garlic. I especially like the aroma it adds to fried rice. Oh yes, I also like it raw and crushed when I'm using plain vinegar as dip for fried fish or pork.

Garlic is usually used for sauteing. And the food being cooked will definitely taste better if you put garlic in it.
