I got this e-mail from my mom yesterday. I thought it was kind of funny.....and maybe just a little bit true.
Enjoy.
"Whatever you give a woman, she is going to multiply. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So - if you give her any crap, you will receive a ton of sh1t."
There is no question to go along with this, except maybe, Do you give back as much sht as you get?

This is hitting the nail on the head. We as women do take alot of crap, but we can dish out more crap than they think. I am one if you mess with my family and dish it out, you best be able to take it. Happy MyLotting!!

Yeah, I used to be pretty timid. I would just take whatever anyone threw at me. However, when I started my family, I became fierce. You don't mess with my family. On the other side of that, I also give my family as much crap back as they care to sling at me. I am always telling my son, Don't sling it, and I won't throw back.

I used to hold back and take people's crap but anymore, I don't. I do give it back tenfold and if they don't like what I say..oh well. I took it for years and I'll be darned if I'm going to anymore. I love that email...it hits the nail on the head..

I think that sometimes people need to get back what they give others. They need to see how it makes everyone feel when they do it.

I guess it just takes some of us a little longer to stand up for ourselves, huh?

I think this little saying says it all! Give a woman a family and she will defend them to the end. She will hand out so much crap, that like someone else pointed out, you better get the shovel handy, cause you're going to have to dig yourself out. Aren't women amazing creatures! And yes I can hand out the crap if I need to!

That email makes me giggle. Every now and then I'll speak up (especially to my kids or husband), but when it comes to complete strangers, I only open my mouth if they're putting someone in harm's way. For example, my daughter's school has a "no pulling in to the parking lot to drop off/pick up your kid" policy; instead they have a designated drop off area near the side doors, or you can park on the street next to the parking lot and walk (due to the location of the school, a lot of kids have to walk through the parking lot to get to the doors, so it's a safety hazard to have cars pulling through there, and the teachers were there long before the students arrived, so they're not an issue). So whenever I see someone pull into the lot to drop of his/her kid, I knock on the windows and thell them they can't be there. As for the random employee that rings my order wrong, I'll just ask them (politely) to correct it, even if they're rude, I tend to keep my cool (not always--there's an exception to every rule).

I usually let things build up until that ONE person gets on my last nerve then, Katy bar the door, cuz you are going to get a tongue lashing that will make your ears ring for a day or two. I have learned to let more things go, these days.

I had to smile as I read this. It is somewhat funny but all the way true. What you give is what you get back. My Mom has taught me this the whole time I was growing up and I have found it to be very true.

This is true. In my older age, I have come to realize that I want to be a little more careful because Karma is good about jumping up and biting you on the backside.
