hi divin, i would prefer swimming. it helps to burn the extra calories much faster than walking. when a person practices swimming daily he is sure to loose weight in a faster rate. it is also fun to stay in the water in a hot sunny day. you can both enjoy staying in the water and also maintain your body

Well, since I can't swim, I prefer to walk. Even if I did know how to swim, I still probably would prefer walking. It just seems like walking refreshes you.

Well this is easy for me to answer. I prefer walking for the simple fact that I can't really swim lol. I will try to swim more though because the times that I have experienced it, I have gotten a really good workout. I think that I am more efficient when it comes to walking though. It burns calories and I get to where I need to be as well.

I prefer walking because I would always be so cold after swimming and when I got older the cold would brng on an instant headache so I don't swim anymore . I believe it is the cold of the water that causes the headache and if the water was warmer I probably wouldn't get a headache but since there is no place to swim where the water is warm that rules that out .
I don't go walking very often but do take the children for a walk when it is nice out . It would be nicer to get out more often but I always feel too tired to go and by the time I think I should have went it is too late lol .

i would prefer swimming. it is really fun for me and it moves all of the muscles in the body. walking is a great exercise but i have to admit, it will take about 30 minutes for me to get my heart rate beat fast unlike swimming which will take me about 2 to 3 laps for me to get that adrenaline feeling! that's just me!

I prefer walking personally as I suffer from a reaction against the chlorine they put in swimming pools. I also to prefer to be out in nature so walking is perfect.
Which do you prefer?

i will choose walking, because i can't swim. everytime when i am feeling bad, i will take a walk for a long long time, and thinking, then my bad mind is gone away. it think this is a way to relax for me.
i admire someone who can swim, it is so close with water, and it must be feel so cool and so free to swim, what's pity, i can't do that, but i will learn, someday i will be swimming in water or sea like a fish.
