We both do it, I usually end up doing it though. Honestly, I grew up in a house where my Dad took care of it, so in my opinion my husband should do it LOL I know that is wrong.
Of course, I have found out that my Dad does a lot of stuff that most men don't: he helps my mom wash dishes every night, takes out the garbage, goes in the attic to store stuff, fixes everything in the house, takes ALL the cars to get oil changes and/or worked on, he is the only one to mow the lawn, ect.

So if the husband falls behind on the job and the trash fills up, does it lead to arguing? nagging? or do they just let it pile up? lol At our home, it's both of us, whoever sees it's full takes it out. It's no big deal and only takes a couple of minutes out of the day. But, he also does the dishes or helps out in other ways around here too. And I do know how to take care of the yard and vehicles. So it works out pretty even around here.

i wouldn't say its my husbands job i am the main one who takes it out unless i set it out by the door he'll grab it and take it out to the road, i couldn't set there and look at it overflow and not take it out, so i would say its a mutal thing whoever sees it needs taken out takes it.
