HI Piyush! The LHC is an amazing achievement! Hopefully within a few years they'll find the particle's they're looking for, and science's understanding will be enhanced, but it seems a bit blunt headed when the Earth is in the grip of a Radical climate shift and society needs to decarbonise its entire industry and commerce in an incredibly short time. Oil is also running out so would'nt the 5 billion been spent on searching for a clean new fuel source like fusion? with some luck the LHC might deliver the science to save us!
