Well it's hard to believe any of that today because they are always changing their minds. They tell you something is good for you and then the next week they say it's bad. I think you should eat whatever you want in the right portions and you'll be fine. If we keep listening to the latest news we'll be wasting a lot of food.

Hi alecz! Both fruits, orange and apples are delicious and with many nutrients and no fat. However between the two, orange is known as a vitamin C powerhouse and boasts almost twice the potassium of apple. Orange also contains about a quarter of the recommended daily allowance for folic acid which lowers the risk of heart disease and stroke. However, apples have many properties that no other fruits have and its benefits have been proven overtime. An apple has low-calories. It prevents cancer, heart diseases, respiratory problems and tooth decay. It also protects the brain from diseases. No wonder Americans consume lots of apples a year.

An orange has higher vitamin C. Both have potassium, A banana is also very healthy. For some reason, eating apples helps your breathing. All three are very good. So are many other fruits and vegetables. I have even seen a diet for weight loss that just required adding three apples a day to your diet. The fiber makes you feel very full. Most of us have better access to apples than oranges. I can grow an apple tree, and I do. I cannot grow oranges and bananas.

I think they just said that because it rhymes. ha ha. I think the best is to eat a variety of fruits. Because different colours of fruits have different nutritional content in it. so it's best to eat a mix of different colours.
