i have said something about this before about it being really hard at times to make money while using the internet and i still think that it is hard to make money at times on the internet, it is for me anyways...i just think that since there isn't a certain amount of money that can be made on the internet i think thats what it really is, like when you are at a nine to five job you know how much you are getting paid and on the internet you don't really know for sure what you are going to make that day...thats just waht i think but i want everyone else's opinion,do you consider it hard to make extra money on the internet? thanks for taking the time out of your day to stop and read my discussion, and hopefully answer as well, i hope that all of you have had a great day so far and that your day is great for the remainder of the day...thanks again!

its really a hard work to earn money here on the internet, aside from the fact that some are scammers! Earning here means a lot of patience.I won't be mylotting if i don't know what the word patient means. I have tried joining other forums and wasted my time on them, unfortunately it ended sad because the site was a scam. They have paid us and then they told us about a program which i think is very cool so the money that i had from them i invested it with the new program but sad to say after that we cannot open the site anymore. Its really hard to look for a site that really pays. Happy mylotting, cheers!

I think making extra money on the internet is a hard work cos no matter how long you stay online, you really don't know how much you'll be getting, it depend on your "performance" and "participation" plus a few active referrals really really helps--a lot! And since I don't have a nine to five job or any job for that matter, making money online is my second source of income, unfortunately I don't really reach payout monthly but still, the money I make online helps. Like the first payment I received here in myLot I used it to buy referrals for my MakeMyBux, and it's helping, so I'm just letting my money online "grow" a little.

I actually have found it hard. I am working towards more work in my writing career and trying to find ways to make money. It is hard because there are so many scams out there. The competition is huge too. However, I think you need to keep trying and see what comes up?

Hi there! I also consider making money in the internet hard. Especially that almost all kinds of earning sites requires referrals and am getting a hard time to find people who can join under me to help earn more. Don't know. Maybe I'm not so good in convincing others. Internet online earnings also require so much of our time but still we don't get to earn enough. You really have to work on it everyday and the earnings would depend on how much we give and thats not fixed amount. Sometimes we even have problems with the interenet connection or our computers and that we cannot loggin and that also affects our chance of earning for that day. Creating traffic is also another factor, visitors who can see our links and maybe join. I guess venturing on online earnings is a matter of choice and if one can really give time to it, it's not impossible to be successful in this kind of business. We just really have to master the craft I think. Ciao!

Yes I do jhl930. It's very hard to sort through all the scams out there and find something legitimate to do. You can sign up for all the survey panels on the internet (and you literally need to do just that). But nothing guarantees you will be invited to participate in any. Believe me, I know. I have done just that and have not yet qualified to take any survey. A lot of the surveys require you to complete their "sponsor offers" in order to be rewarded i.e., "Receive a $500 gas card just for completing our short survey". I need to make money, not spend it thank you very much! There are websites out there that actually do pay you for your services, but do you know how many emails you have to read to earn $10? The only ones out there making the actual money are the ones selling their list of "Legitimate Work At Home Jobs" for $29.95. And yes, I am one of the suckers that bought it.

Right it is hard to earn through online some program will scam you and take your money that is very tragic experience, however in order to skyrocket here you have lot of sincerely friends to refer as a recruit to earn a big sum of money. I try also any type of programs I earn only few of single digit which my dream a thousand one. But I will never give up I hope I have an ace in my hand to succeed someday.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. I agree with you. I think earning money online is one of the most difficult task because of the utterly low pay rates. You get only few cents even after typing in whole day on your computer.

Good day.. For me it isn't because I consider mylot more of a leisure than work. I mean we just share our thoughts on a certain subject matter, post and we earn, not much but we do and mylot provides the venue for us to interact and become friends if the chemistry is right. Mylot isn't a hard work at all. It is a vacation for me with pay.

Having just posted below, and this having been posted in the interim, it seems we somewhat agree. :-)

I think theres no easy way to earn money either online or offline. Its really hard to earn money. We have to work hard for it.But if you have regular job where you know how much you get paid per hour it would be better than online earning.Just make it an extra earning job.

I don't thinking working online is not a hard work, it's just a relaxed job staying at home surfing to get rich and earn money. What do we say bout people working outside, are they having a relaxed time of their own??

It's definitely not hard work, but yes it is ver, very, very time consuming. I just started a few days ago, but boy....it sure is discouraging. No only are my earnings low, but my baack hurt, my eyes are tires, is it really worth it?

Well it allows people under the age of 18 to make money when they're at home, during their spare time.

Fair point I guess. But don't most sites forbid under 18s from earning money? I must admit I didn't pay such close attention to the under 18 restrictions, only noted they were there. Also, shouldn't under 18s be spending their free time running round fields, climbing trees, or even reading books? In fact, shouldn't I be doing that? hmmm.

I haven't made much money on the internet, but I wouldn't call the work hard. You don't get paid what you would get if you were working a regular job. I guess if you wanted or needed the money you would have to do something a little more difficult than posting discussions and reading articles. Maybe something like medical billing, or data entry.

It depends on what you're doing - both on and off the Internet. I have a "9-5" and yes I know what my paycheck will be every time. I also have a home business that pays me dependant on how I perform. If I don't do much, I don't get paid much. If I do a lot, I get paid a lot. That would be like Internet "work", it's dependant on what you put into it. To a point, so is a "9-5" because if you don't produce, you get fired.

I find it to be painstaking and very time consuming to make anything online. Here thus far is the most enjoyable that I've found..but i haven't looked very hard or tried long either.

I find it next to impossible. Even if you sell online such as ebay. They charge you to have a seller account, they charge for insertion fees, etc., etc,. etc. I wish there was really a way to do it. Ive had computer and internet now for almost 5yr. been looking all this time havent found a profitable thing yet.

Sometimes it can be hard making money on the net. I think it depends upon what you are doing. There are plenty of freelance writing gigs out there where you can write articles for people who are in need of web content. Rentacoder, Freelance, Elance, Odesk and a variety of other sites. I think it is wonderful to make multiple streams of income. I haven't had much luck with the MLM thing. I'm involved with SpiderWeb and GDI, perhaps not really marketing much, those do take time; however. I'm looking in to the affiliate marketing; I really need to start building a site.
