Yes I will never forget that horrible event, I live right here in NYC and lost some friend in there so I will say some prayers for them and their families. I hope and pray something like this never happens again - ever.

Yes I agree. My job had one of their offices in one of the towers and I was sent to work there on many occasions. I get chills every time I am around there. Thanks for starting this discussion, we must never forget.

I think about them almost every day. It's hard to forget, I drove past NY city the day before the attacks and through the PA crash area the day after. I have been in one of the World trade towers. And I know EMTs, firefighters and National Guardsmen who went to help. I still get chills thinking about it and what those poor people must have gone through, especially when I'm flying. I was going to ask you if you went to Ground Zero on your trip but I see from posts above that you did. If I recall you were worried about your daughter keeping things to structured, how did that work out for you? Thanks for the reminder.

We should remember this EVERY DAY...not just on the anniversary of the attacks. We should think about these events every day, and be reminded of what happened when we let our guards down and became too relaxed with our security procedures and immigration policies. Remember, these attacks were carried out by foreign people, but they were carried out from WITHIN our borders. This tells me we should be more cautious and selective about who we let in to begin with. Some countries won't even let Americans INTO their countries unless we are escorted 24/7 by a government official or law enforcement. Maybe that is what needs to happen here? Maybe if we were more strict on letting people into our country, those attacks could have been prevented... Yes...Please take time to remember those murdered on 9/11, and to remember the families left behind to grieve. BUT remember the lessons that we should have learned from those attacks EVERY DAY... It isn't a matter of IF we are attacked again...it is a matter of WHEN and HOW BAD it will be...

I too think it is very important to take a few minutes to remember all the pointless destruction caused in one day and all the lives lost.

We remembered it on Sunday and we sang "A Mighty Fortress is Our God." and there was a sermon on it as how it impacted America. I will remember all the people who were murdered and their families and hope that the terrorists who perpetuated and the countries who supported them pay dearly for this attack on America.

This is a day in history where the worse has ever happenned in mass killing of innocent lifes. This not only affect the Americans but we on the other side of the world feel the pain and sadness the families they left behind. Lets all pray for their departed souls and may they rest in eternal peace.
