Do you always buy the same brand?

hi lilcee I usually stick to known brands that I can trust but on paper towels and bath tissue I buy super rolls of store brandand they seem just like the fancier supeer rolls but cost half as much. I am on a limited budge and would rathersave on paper than on food items.

I buy what is on special offer! Because you can save a fortune that way, basically most things are the same but have different labels on them, from foods to clothes, big branded labels are always more costly, but you can get the same item just as cheaper if you shop around or buy a brand that is on special offer, usually a BOGOF when you can stock up as you do, if you have the storage capacity then you can do that no problem. With everything going up it pays to cash in on the special offers, might only be a £1 here and there but that soon adds up over a period of time. And most of the time you are only paying for the brand and not the product itself!

I usually always buy store brands. I try to shop at the same couple of places so most of the time I do end up with the same brands. Unless something is having a great sale then it is always the same stuff. Sometimes a friend or relative will recommend something and I will try it. With a budget like mine though I usually search for the deal going on. Recently I have been getting great deals on unusual stuff because of local store closings and such.

yes and no. i like trying new brands. but if i find a pair of jeans that fit good and are great i will keep buying that brand. i may even buy 2 of the same color just because i know they will fit right and will last a long time

My husband always gets mad at me for trying so many different product brands...but I don't think you can form a fair opinion if you don't try them!

It depends on what I am buying but generally I buy the brands I know. The dish washing liquid I use, is the only one one the market that I don't get a reaction from, my hands get very dry and itchy with nearly all the other brands be it name brands or house brands, so whenever there is a sale I stock up. There are other products like clothes soap that I have 3 brands and whichever is cheaper is the one I use the problem with some of the other brands is that they damage the fabrics. There are a few house brands I use as they are the same products only with cheaper packaging, where I live edible products tend to have a producer stamp and code and at times it is possible to match and thus buy name brands as reduced prices example there is a sweets company that has it's own brand and then it also sells to stores and they package it, however since the packaging is transparent you can see that it is the same thing.

Yes, I usually buy the same brand. This is true with toilet paper, paper towels, clothes, and even food! I find it easier to stick to a brand that I like rather than find the best deal. But as I usually shop at Wal-Mart I pay less anyway.

well, in clothing i do buy same brand cause i like their styles., so whenever i go to mall and buy something ., i always look for that shop., but there are also times that i need to try out something new just to compare the difference or if that product is much better than what i am currently using.,

I always buy the same brand and that makes me satifaction. they use their mind to satisfy the customer.

at first i try to get all the brands but after trying them, i choose the best one for me.. if later i see new brands i may try them also.. with the hard times going on, we have to see which is most cost effective to use.. some may be cheap but it does not serve its purpose so its a waste only.. one example is in television brand- my friend purchased an unknown brand and i got a japan-brand (he got it half price of my tv).. my friend's tv may be cheaper but after 3 years it's defective and already replaced with another unit.. me, i'm still enjoying my tv even after 6 years.. waiting for sale promos is good, sometimes delaying buying also helps, especially if new models arrive and they will put on sale the old models..

Hi there lilcee With some things I always stick to the brands like baked beans as I just don't like the other brands. I do try other more expensive brands when they are on offer but go back to my usual once the offers are over.

i always purchase the same brand of toiletries and even when it comes to clothes... I love Bayo! Bayo, a famous clothing line here in the Philippines, offers a wide array of chic clothes. I love their tops and dresses! =)

I usually buy the same brand. Lately I've been experimenting with whatever is on sale. Unfortunately that hasn't been working out so well. My kids tend to prefer what they are used to and reject new brands. Which means I end up wasting. So, I've decided to stay with the usual brands and stock up when they are on sale too. '

I try to stick with certain brands but now I usualy bu which ever brands is on sale.

We will buy what ever is the least expensive, unless we know the other brand is bad. There are a few things that we only enjoy from a certai brand like BBQ sauce, but for most things we are not brand loyal.

Hi lilcee, I am like most people here. I will look for the sales and bargains if I can save some money. But it depends on the product. When it comes to food items I will buy store brands for most things except certain items that I know I have to have the name brands like mayonnaise, ketchup, certain salad dressing. When it comes to clothes I refuse to buy for a label. I will buy what fits the best for the least price and like you if I like it and it fits well I might buy 2 of the item like jeans because I have a hard time finding ones that fit right. But looking for sales and bargains is the only way to shop with the economy the way it is. In fact I have to go grocery shopping this week and I have purposely waited an extra week because I didn't like last weeks sales and I did the right thing because this weeks sales are great and I will end up saving alot more money!

As of me when we buy something me and my husband we make sure the brand is a good one and the quality should also be good.For example we bought LG Fridge and we also made sure our washing machine is also from the same brand.Sometimes for example like groceries we tend to try new things depending on the moving track. Yes i usually buy the same brands especially when it comes to my blouses. But when it comes to my groceries sometimes i try to buy some products which i havent tried using so far. Even if its cheaper i dont get tempted on buying it because i really consider the quality of the product.
