do you have siblings that don't really talk to you anymore?

I have one brother that I have not spoken to except to say excuse me if he is standing in my way for years. He is selfish and self-centered and mean spirited and I told him years ago that if he could not speak positively and courteously around me then he shouldn't bother speaking to me at all. Of course that never works, and he kept being snotty (he is awful to my mom, but not when my dad is around to hear it of course), so I just chose and have chosen to ignore him. No one should have to put up with selfish, negative people whether they are related to you or not. I am sorry your brother is dissing you. The only way to find out why he is really doing it is to ask I guess. Maybe he doesn't even realize he is doing it.

I'm so sorry to hear about you and your brother. If I were you, I would back off and give him some space. He will come around sooner or later.

My sister and I used to hang out party that sorta thing or whatever and after she got married she dont really talk to me unless she wants something and dont have anything to do with me.

why don't you ask him personally? try to have bonding, go out and have a drink....im so bless that me and my sister still keep the bond.

I have a brother that is six years older than me and we talk now and then. it seems like he likes to call when he wants advice about girls or something like taht or he wants me to do something for him. i am always there for him when he needs someone to talk to but just the other day when i needed someone to talk to he didnt have enough time and hung up on me. we have not spoken since. i guess that was about a week ago tomorrow.

Me and my brother are not that close anymore. I am 13 and he is 17. He does not talk to me or respond to any of my questions. I am starting to hate and I give him by the end of the year. After that, I will never ever talk to him or say that he ever was my brother.

Yes, all of them... My sister hardly talks to me. I think that she is very mad at me.. I think I know what it is too. My step brothers never talk to me like that.. They act as if they don't even know whom I am.. And my youngest sister only deals with me, when she feels like it.. I just wished that I had all siblings whom cared more for me more than the ones that I have as of now..

WOW!! this sounds like something i've posted all week. yea i know how you feel. my sister doesn't really like talking to me either...i'm too white for her. it hurts and sometimes i just can't understand what i did to deserve that kind of treatment. and while i'd like to say that i'm over it i'm not. it pisses me off that i have a family that doesn't want me. i love my mom and all but i just want more. your brother may just be i a stage of his life where he just wants to be by himself and not have to be bothered by family. i would chill out for while and let him come to you. that's what i'm doing with my sister right now.
