i believe that intelligence is inherited but it also needs to be nurtured.. does good parenting make all the difference or are A+ students born smart?

Not everyone has the capabilities to be a rocket scientist. We are all born with different abilities. But I believe whether or not you achieve your full potential depends on environmental factors. Some of the smartest people did not get good grades in school. Parenting has a lot to do with it. Being an active part of your child's education certainly can improve their chances of getting good grades in school.

Intelligence is passed on through genetics. That's what i believe. But there are many different types of intelligence. School smarts are based on memory, which people think are the lowest form of intelligence. Streets smarts, from what I learned today, are how good you can survive on the streets, probably as a hobo. Some people have better memory, some people have worse memory. It all depends on you genes. :)

there is a different type of intelligence i think..some other people are genius in other things and not on the other things. maybe each of us has a "genius" in something like maybe in music, art, or in other things that we didn't discover yet..thanks btw for the response :)
