The Obamamania has just gotten a little more crazy. Comparing Barack Obama to Jesus? I am a strong supporter of Barack, but even I think that is a little bit out there. What do you all think?

That's called the anti-Christ, Even though I'm not a Obama Supporter, I don't think he (as of right now) has all the charictoristics to be the Anti-Christ.

I agree there are SOME, but not all.

Ever read Left Behind? The fact that he already has brainwashed supporters who see past his clear and obvious mistakes and lies reminds me of the end of the 1st left behind book where the Anti-Christ shoots a man in front of a room full of people and told them what they actually saw was the man next to him shooting him. Scary stuff.

You think so? I been following some of this too and I he does have some of the characteristics...but only time can really tell. Plus, there are more characterisitics that have yet to be shown.

Who's been comparing Obama to Jesus? I know there were comments early on but I hadn't noticed anything lately and I've been trying to keep up with all of the news and articles on both candidates. I think it's ridiculous, of course. He's a man, just like anyone else.

Oh I really think that is way overboard already. I know he is a good person but to make him compared to Jesus is overacting already. I hope they would calm down already.

I was just watching fox news and they had a segment on people who were comparing Obama to Jesus or the Mesiah, They mentioned Donna Brazile who was the campaign manager for Al Gore. Tenneesee Rep. Steve Cohen made the comparison today on the floor of the House. Check out the link election.foxnews.com/2008/09/10/tennessee-rep-compares-obama-to-jesus-suggests-palin-is-pilate/

Kind of scary in my opinion. It is totally out there. No politician of any party should be considered "Jesus-Like".

Who cares if Obama is a Muslim. You are the one running around saying every body needs to leave my godess Palin alone and stop spreading rumors yet you continue to do the same thing. I doubt very much that 82% of Germans feel this way, that 82 is your number for everything, Palins approval rating ect ect.

Here's a question for any Christian Conservative-How would you like it if someone forced their religious beliefs onto you? Would you like to remember what brought all the immigrants to America to begin with? Let's see it must have been because we have Chuckie Cheeses huh? NO it was because they were escaping religious persecution. They wanted to worship from their own point of view. Christians should be ashamed of themselves for defeating the purpose of the Founders. They should be ashamed of themselves that all the Native Americans that were killed so that white man could have their religious freedoms. And now one of the issues that the Founders felt so strongly about has made this present day country the country that the Founders had fleed from. Geeze I guess it is true that Christians only take away from the Bible what they want.

I already knwe that it was coming, figured someone would state that about him being Jesus. I am not an Obama supporter and in my eyes what has been said about him, not possible.
