I never use a PC in my entire life as when I start to have interest in the computers the Laptop was becoming cheap already. If you remove the convenience of carrying the laptop what would be the best Laptop or PC. Which one can handle better the system? I heard from few of my friends that PC can manage better the system than Laptop. Is it true?
Thanks for your time Myloters.

i think they're equally good.. i mean each one of them are good in each situations.. i know.. you said the best, this means that you'll use your laptop even home if you don't have a desktop.. but unless you're a business man that doesn't need such things as: games.. well why would you buy a desktop computer? it's useless in this situation.. it occupies lots of space (!) and it consumes lots of energy power.. this means more money spent.. for nothing ! thing at this, you'll figure out that spending 800$ on a laptop is more useful than spending 600$ on a desktop and the rest of 200$ to pay + for the energy.. this is my point of view..

Without considering the convenience factor for the laptop, I guess a desktop PC will be a little bit ahead. For one, for the same specs, it is cheaper, meaning for the same price, you'll get a higher system specs for a PC desktop. Another advantage would be easy to maintain and upgrade. Desktop parts can be easily replaced or upgraded. As for the software, both handles the same, but the desktop has better ventilation so it can work harder than the laptop. I hope this info answers your question..

I prefer laptop because its portable while a normal Pc is not despite that the latter has a better system. A laptop enables me to work everywhere.

Before this I use PC. Now I use laptop. Using laptop is more easy for me. I can bring it anywhere I like. Laptop can be carry anywhere therefor I can bring to class and library. Although PC have large screen and better to play games, I still prefer laptop because my PC is slow than laptop.

I would prefer a desktop computer if you would take out the convenience and mobility of a laptop because a desktop computer is much customaziable than a laptop also the monitor is much wider and the picture quality is much clearer, that is why i would prefer a desktop rather than a laptop computer because of those features.

I love laptop because it is handy but the problem is it is sensitive and and cant handle the system better. I have a pc at home and its an old version. Until now my siblings are still using it lol. It is proven and tested that pc last long compared to a laptop. But on the other hand it also depend on how you use it. If you know how to take good care of your laptop i think it will last longer. No matter how durable the item is, if your not taking good care of it. It wont still last longer.

I much prefer the Desktop because the Laptop cannot always hold what the Desktop can hold in terms of memory, but at the moment, the laptop is more convenient because it rarely breaks down on me.

these days a laptop is as good as a desktop computer. you can get a docking station and use the same hardware you would use for your desktop computer. i.e. I am using my 20 inch flat screen desktop monitor for my laptop with the docking station with that said and the ability to play the same games that a desktop can play I would have to say the laptop is better to use.

To correct on your part you're probably talking about if one is better to use a PC Desktop or PC Laptop. Well here is my say on that. If there is a person that is on the go, who is at the library, at starbucks or anywhere out then I do recommend a laptop. If one who is at home, especially one who has a home business or works in a office then yes I do recommend a PC Desktop.
For me I'm a laptop person. Why? I can take it with me wherever I go. I consider having a wireless card for internet access. I have my pen drives or memory cards to access my file. I don't like using PC Desktops much anymore dealing with wires or reaching under the desktop to unplug or plug devices. Plus laptops are light weights compared to desktops. When say you do take your computer in for repair you don't have to worry about carrying light weight laptops because carrying desktops is a pain in the butt to take in.
I find that laptops are simple to repair and much faster than for desktops. You'd spend a lot more money on certain parts plus on labor repair when it comes to desktops.
Also in this day and age for technology growing you're going to need a laptop due to the fact everything is now built in with it including web cam, memory card reader, wireless internet, high definition, firewire, usb and many more. Why spend so much on a desktop if the laptop already has it?

I always prefer a PC.If you are constantly traveling then a laptop is good. You can fit more hardware into a PC than you can on a laptop.

Depends, if you want it for internet bussines, chating, cheking email, and that stuff, then the best is a laptop. Becouse it dosn't take too much space, you can bring it everywhere... but if you want it for playing games it is better a PC, becouse laptop's keyboard is very sensible and it may get broken. And the screen makes it a bit more dificult to play games too.

PC parts are cheaper and easier to maintain so it is easier to manage compared to a laptop. If you compare a laptop and a PC of the same specs, you will see that the laptop will still be more expensive. Laptops are also harder to upgrade because you cannot use generic parts.

I would highly recommend you using a desktop computer instead of a laptop. You can get a nice big monitor that is easier on the eyes. You can get an ergonomic keyboard that will be easier on your hands than using a laptop keyboard. I think you can get better control with a mouse, but really you could just get a wireless mouse. You can also get better hardware for the desktop computer at lower prices because they don't need to be as small.
