Something bring you bad luck.

i have read that these things can make you bad luck.
1.walking undera ladder.
2.spilling salt.
3.cutting your nails on a friday.
4.stepping on cracks in the sidewalk.
5.an owl hooting 3 times.
6.getting out of bed left foot first.
7.if pepper is spilt, then you will have a serious argument with a friend.
8.looking at the new moon over your left shoulder.
i don't if they were real or not, but i think i don't do these thing either, how about you? do you know any other things can bring you bad luck?

I do not think I know anything else to be bad luck other than when one runs into a black cat and even so I do not really believe in it. For a while I had several incidents occur back to back and people would tell me that some one put a bad luck curse, I just think it was coincidental that they were so close to each other. Who knows?

Those are only superstitions and i don't necessarily believe they will bring you bad luck. The one from spilling salt i know comes from ancient times when salt was really expensive. It was thought that if salt was spilled a spirit did it and you had to throw some over your shoulder to appease the spirit.
