Do you generally ask whatever is on your mind and not bother about how many responses you get or do you try really hard to think of a topic that people are most likely to respond to? Ive seen many people felling bad about getting zero/very few responses. Many even want their discussions to be deleted. Many discussion starters don't bother to reply to posts.
What goes on in your mind before starting a discussion? Is getting maximum responses the central driving force behind your discussion? Or are you REALLY curious to know what people think.

I always try to think of a topic that most myLotter would respond to. I am here for the money and a lot of responses to my discussion would mean a lot of earnings for me.
And commenting on responses also earns us money so I always do that.
Have a nice day!

I haven't been here for very long but the few discussions I have started I tryed to make so they get the most responses. Most of the discussions I have started haven't got to many responses except for one of them. I usually try to think of a good topic to make a discussion about. Most of the topics I think of I don't even end up posting just because I don't think many people will respond to them.
I dunno I think that its kinda hard to think of a good topic/interest to start because there is already so much going on here already by so many other people.

i prefer to know what others think. I don;t really care if the question is popular or not. It is sometimes interesting to learn or find out about the way others live and what makes them tick.

I don't think too hard to get more response. To get more responses I believe 2 factors mainly. One is Time and the other is Place. If we consider these 2 properly and post a quality discussion, you will easily get 20+ responses for all your posts. Check my blog for tips to earn more in mylot. It includes getting more responses also. All the best. Happy mylotting.
