What will God do if creation theory is proved wrong?

As I sat down thinking what should I ask here to my fellow mylotters, this naughty question came to my mind. yesterday there was a discussion here on if man evolved from apes as darwin proposed.
Lets assume that in the near future its proved conclusively that god of the books did not create anything. all that has been proved wrong. if mankind suddenly stopped worshipping, praying to god what will happen to all religions? Will there be utter chaos or will it be a normal day as any other day.
Hope i will get to hear some hilarious replies. Lets create a comedy of errors here in this discussion.

It has always been my believe that man in General needs something to believe in. In my opinion, if the Creationist viewpoint were to be proved wrong, people would just create some new religion and God to worship. (If anybody was wondering, no I'm not a religious person).
I have always wondered. According to the bible God created everything (the whole universe). If we were to travel to a distant star and meet some little green men out there, wouldn't it be interesting to see what religious beliefs they would follow? They are after all created by the same God and should be worshipping Him too.

Here's a hilarious one for you, "if all religions were to disappear, would religious conflict also disappear?"

as long as men want to control one another in the name of some creed, or the other, conflicts will be there. religions may disappear, but religious leaders, and their institutions will take a while before they disappear. will they?

I think that life will be better for everyone if religion was gone. I believe in a higher power (you can call it "God" if you want to, but I do not), and I believe in evolution. I believe the higher power in the universe created the Big Bang, which then in turn created evolution. If there is a real "God", I do not think that It honestly cares what we believe in, what we worship, what started the universe and evolution, or what we do. If It cared, things would be dramatically different from what they are now. If science can prove the Big Bang and Evolution, then that is great for science.

A higher power that isn't God?
Are you trying to create a new religion?
LOL
I find it hard to believe in the Big Bang and Evolution. I believe they're theories and I admire the creative ideas behind these concepts. Unfortunately, I don't accept it.
If the Big Bang is true, I don't think a single explosion can cause all things to be unique. Just look at the planets, the trees, the animals, the nature itself has a design and everything seems to fall in the right place.
Even human beings, billions of people to be exact (from past to present up to the future generations), have unique fingerprints.
I mean if all things came from a mere accident, then we should all be the same in terms of appearance, characteristics, etc.

Good question. But I don't think God would really do anything. He can't really force anyone to believe if they don't want to or HE can just flood the Earth again just like what He did during Noah's time to get rid of all believers. :D He might just do that. Hehe. To end it all once and for all.

If the concept of religion or God will be proven wrong, i guess all religious ministers and priests will have to find new jobs.

if creation is proved wrong then god won't do anything because then it would be equivalent to proving there is no god. if someone is able to prove that creation is not the way the world was created then they would be able to prove there was no god and that would be a horrible day.

heaven who are you talking to? if you're talking to me back off. i'm a christian and if creation was proved wrong then that could possibly mean that someone can prove that god doesn't exist. i'd like not to think about it but since it was brought up i spoke my mind.

well then He will start the cycle all over again
create some kind of natural disaster that will wipe away everyone on earth aside from one very good writer and his wife/ lover
He wil turn this couple into half ape half humans and tell the writer to write about a book called "Missing Link? What Missing Link?" and so the future generations will know that proving God wrong can be tricky

The problem is, it can't be proved wrong. As we see, as of the moment, Science is too limited to dictate good conclusions against the authenticity of the bible.

According to my religion I do not accept the creation theory. When one says God created everything the question arise that who created the God. I still didn't get a good answer for this.
But many of the religions based on this and if this is scientifically proved there might be a big mess. But what I think is that science and religion should not be taken together and comparatively. They serve two different purposes.
Let religion build the qualities of person while science play it role in scientific world.

your answer answered that.
First paragraph - this fact all religions will notlike to ansswer
true. religion n science have their utility and should not be taken to 2gether and comparitively - that is also right.
intelligent answer.

I really don't believe in the theory of evolution. I think there are a lot of holes in the idea. First of all, let's say that we did evolve from the apes as the basis of creation and now here we are as people roaming the land. As this subject comes up once in a while here as a forum on myLot I can't help but argue how everything else was created. Like the atmosphere, the sun, the stars and planets.
Wouldn't there have to be a superior being smarter than all of us to make all that? Think about it. I really can't be sure what would happen if religions were to cease. There is no telling.

Not to sound rude but evolution is proven to be true. That doesnt mean that god didnt create us, but people and animals do evolve. Modern biologists will tell you this. In my opinion having one creator of all things is more absurd then the big bang theory. Im not saying i dont believe in god, im just pretty agnostic at the moment, prove to me that he exists! lol As for evolution, its all around you my friend. Do you know that you share many of the same genes as apes? And it wasnt that we descended from apes its that apes and humans share a common ancestor that is now extinct. I am currently taking a evolutionary nueroscience class so we talk about the common misconceptions people have, us evolving from apes is one of them.

I really started to love the kind of interaction between the mylotters going on here. whether one believes in evolution or creation is not important. putting forward the facts involved in both the cases and analysing it critically and logically is important.
when i posted this topic here i was expecting somekind of funny answers. but it seems everybody is into very serious discussion which scientific community and religious heads never seem to have engaged even once. well, we at mylot can be perfect example to religious heads and scientists how things are debated and discussed. instead of targetting someone using media, we should encourage healthy debate which i find here at mylot. winning and losing are also not important. there is truth in both cases. lets seperate the truth from lies.
happy mylotting.

just because someone can get enough facts together doesn't mean something is true. there are a lot of holes in the theory of evolution. anyone can make anything look true you just have to be smart enough to see it for what it is.

God won't fret at all. In a booming voice amidst thunder followed by a hearty chuckle He will say: Oh dear tulipstrader, would you rather believe you're a descendant of monkeys??? Why oh why would you choose that when you could rightfully claim I created you? LOL...haha!!!

No one has ever been able to prove God doesn't exist and no one ever will. Same thing for us coming from apes, they will never be able to prove it, mainly because it isn't true.

my dear prinzess
ther wer people who proved tht god doesnt exist. the very sentence you uttered proves he cannot exist. i hope you know certain rules of logic. i hope you will find that out yourself. i asked for some funny answers. not serious religious sermon type.
anyway thanks for participating here and making this discussion going.
happy mylotting and hoping to see you back again at another discussion here.

I beg to differ, ronny, I insist to believe the big bang.
Many things are shaped over time, over a really long period of time.
How things become unique, is because of one word, Evolution.
If you have seen the ancient humans, you would have to agree with me. What is harder to believe is something that hasn't been backed with truth, instead of just books and books of what you call, "theories". At least, big bang has been backed with something that we all know and has believed.
Unless you are able to prove evolution and big bang wrong, I don't think you should take it as a joke...

I have no problem with your bigbang theory or whatever you will like that to be called. i know this did not pop out one day as it is today, and the world evolution is also misundertood by everyone. many things evolve over a period of time. my purpose of shooting down this topic here was to see how much people understood about the whole stuff and whether they still want to be stuck the cess pool of religion or half baked scientific truth which has no backing or evidence. it is fashionalble for every one to create theories around their pet topic. they assume something, want it to be in some strange way - then weave the theory they want and not the way things are.
Taking all discussions too seriously is not my habit. seriousness somehow creates a kind of hellish mood. through some humrous way, it is easier to get to the right place, because we all will be relaxed then. and if it is a joke for some, then it is. its all in your thinking..
