cleaning paint brushes

i usually after cleaning with the turpentine take very warm water add a little dishwashing liquid after cleaning take a little conditioner hair conditioner and just rub it in the palm of your hand and shape your brush this usually works for me

I usually use detergent or mostly Ivory soap before I use the turpentine. This way I can save my turps, since it is kind of expensive. Another thing you can do is keep your turpentine in a jar, let the paint settle to the bottom, and then pour off the clean turpentine into a new container so you can save it. This really helps to stretch it out a little.
There is also a brush soap from the General company (same people who make quality pencils). This brush soap is a wonderful product to clean the brushes with. It can also be applied to a clean brush to condition the bristles.
