Sin City Review

I just saw Sin City for the first time and I must say I loved it. Although it was a bit more gorey than I originally thought it was going to be, I watched it twice. I actually found this movie at the library and I was thinking it was something else. I have to say it resembled GrindHouse in a lot of ways. The actors and actresses were both very sexy and very great at acting. There were so many well known actors and actress' that I couldn't believe it. I remember seeing the commercials but they really weren't that dominant. What did you think? Do you recommend and other recent titles? Thanks! Happy mylotting!

OMG!! finally, someone who saw Sin City. =) am glad you posted your comment.
I watched it years ago in big screen. and my friends didn't like it. they thought it was too morbid and too dark.
I personally liked it. it's star studded. plus it's like an experimental movie. i have a copy of my own. my sister gave it to me as a gift. =)
i like elijah wood's character here. up to know it gives me the shivers.
the movie is too visual but minimalist in color. but the scenes would stick in your head.
btw, this movie is created by the same creator of the upcoming movie Watchmen. =)

I know what you mean it was really dark. I did love how they made colors pop though. Like the red and blues... it was amazing. Experimental?! Well I think they mastered this one lol. I thought elijah wood's character was crazy! Well he was... but ya know what I mean. They has some really in depth stuff and a great story to go off of! I'm gunna go buy my copy as soon as I get the monies hehe

I have seen Sin City it is a good show. I love Bruce Willis. There is supposedly a Sin City 2 but the only place I can find to get it is on ebay you can't rent it from the stores or Netflix they don't have it but the first one is good. We bought Sin City from a video store that was going out of business so we have it at home now.

Sin city 2? I have heard nothing about it... If you get it though tell me if its any good lol. It didn't look like the story could have a part 2... but maybe its a whole different story this time.

I thought this movie was awesome and I am looking forward to the second one. I think there may even end up being a third one. If you like movies like this, have you seen the Kill Bill movies? Another one that's similar but more of a dark comedy is Lucky Number Slevin. I doubt it's for everybody, but I loved it. Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Lucy Liu, and Josh Hartnett are all in it.

Lucky number slevin? I'll go check it out -- loved the kill bill movies for sure -- I don't know anyone who doesn't and if they dont they are surely dropped HHAA anyways thanks for teh comments ^_^
