Have you ever fell down from the stairs of your house or office. One I was in my office it was a rainy day and some how the stairs become slippery. I was called by my boss to discuss some official matter. In hurry with my note book I as I was going down my foot slipped and I was down by six steps injuring my back and neck and arms It was so paining that I can not explain. I was helped by some of my office female mates. This incident I can not forget in my life. Have you ever experienced such an incidence in your life, please discuss.

Yes I have. But not from office or home. When I was very small I went for a mountain. There was a mountain to be climbed which had steps. I was climbing it fast and realised that my parents are still down. So I stepped down with same speed and suddenely I fall down. My father was able to catch me after few steps and had he not been able to do so I would have fallen into the deep jungle. That was a great escape and I feel terrified even when I remember it.

I have fell down from the stairs when i was quite young. When i was a small kid, i always find the stairs somewhat fascinating and take it as my playground. I would hope around, jump from the third or fourth steps to the ground..etc. One day, i tried to break my "record" by jumping from the sixth step. I slipped as fell to the ground, with my head hitting the steps then landed on my backside. Thankfully i was not seriously hurt. All i got are just some minor bruises and a scolding from my mum!

Creepy Stairs - Fall from this stairs to see and feel your death.
I haven't experienced this yet, and I don't think I want to anyway. But I experienced falling from a double-deck bed before. When we were still little, my brother and I were playing on the second deck. My brother had pushed me, unintentionally of course, and then I fell down - head first! Pretty awful. I cried the whole day, but thank God I was not hospitalized.

I fell down the stairs of our house when I as kid, that I know but not when I was all grown up. There was this time though when I was in 3rd year high, I was in Starbucks with 2 of my guy friends, we were seated on the 2nd floor and late that I was (I arrived on time and they were 30 minutes early) they ordered already so I have to go down again to order, on my way down after 3 steps I fell down butt first. I landed right on the middle of the stairs. Too humiliating.

I fell down once when I was in school. The cafeteria has a flight of steps I had to climb down. We wore tight skirts as our uniform. As I was climbing down the steps, it must have been slippery and fell a few steps below. I was just hoping nobody could see what's under my skirt. I got up real quick so as not to attract attention. It was very embarrassing. The cafeteria was full of students. Well, I was not the only one who fell down from that flight of steps. I have seen many others do so too. So, it must be the slippery steps. My friends also fell many times in that school. We thought that it must be jinxed.

No, I have never fell before. I hope that something like this never does happen. I am so sorry to hear about you falling down the stairs. I did have stairs in an apartment that I used to stay at. But, I recently moved... I was glad to.

Yes I have had my share of falls. I experienced falling from the same flight of steps twice. I lived in an apartment several years ago where there were steps that led to the ground from my being on the top floor. Ice seemed to be the catalyst for both falls. I must not have been paying too close attention. There was ice on the steps and I slipped right down them on my behind. The next time came a while later when I was carrying a baby stroller down them and didn't notice the ice that time. That really hurt. You can really hurt you back and hands. Luckily my little son was in the house at the time and not involved with the fall.

Hey there, this reminds me of such an incident in my higher secondary standard. It was just a week that i got my new admission in higher secondary standard, where we had routine morning assembly followed by physical training session for an hour. It was after morning assembly that we were walking in a queue to the playground and there was nearly 3 small stepped stairs. I smoothly crossed two of them and my feet disbalanced in the 3rd one and i toppled down. Unbelievably within an hour my feet swell like a thick loaf of bread and i was groaning with pain. This was in the morning and i still remember i kept sitting with my feet the same way for next 8 hours without telling anybody till the school got over. By the time in the afternoon i was getting assured that i have fractured my foot and it was in the evening when my Dad took me to doctor and confirmed 100% that it is a fracture after X-Ray. I can't forget those days walking with those big steel clutches which were even heavier than my weight... ;-) were real troublesome...... That was also a part of life or in fact some phase which i came across..... had missed out a lot in my studies...... and then had to cope up with them. :-)

I have fallen down stairs whilst drunk a couple of times.. My own stupid fault for getting drunk I suppose! I've never really been MAJORLY drunk, it's just because I'm a clumsy person in general, the slightest thing that impairs my judgement can send me flying.. literally!

I think I was 7 years old back then when I fell from a 15-17 steps stair. I just finished using the toilet and I walk upstairs without pants. After about just 2 more steps up, I tried to put on my pants and ended up rolling down the stairs. Kind of stupid isn't it. But it's funny remembering it. I think that's just about the story I had regarding falling from stairs. Don't recall anything other than that. It must the learn from your mistakes lesson that it never happened to me again. Hope not.

I really dont mean to offend anyone but i think it's hilarious when people my age fall down stair or slip on ice, but in the case of older people i really don't think its funny at all. One time my freind he is really fat, and he slipped on the ice and i started laughing so hard.

I've never fallen down the stairs but i've had a few close calls where i've stumbled a little and almost fallen down them. I am terrified to fall down the stairs because I know it will hurt terribly. You are lucky that you weren't hurt worse. A woman that is a member of a league on pogo.com just lost her husband a few days ago from him falling down the steps. He was only in his 50's. I'm lucky enough to have never gotten injured bad at all. I hope to continue with that luck.

yup, guilty as charged! just after my hubby and i started dating (we have been married for 20 years) we were having supper at his parents house and i was running down the basement steps to help him open the door (he had a plate of food he had been bbqing - his hands were full) and i missed the last 3 steps. i ended up hobbling around that night and when i got up in the morning, my mom could see the bone sticking out! so needless to say, we ended up going to emerg and i was off work all summer!

Hi Sweethomecatring. It happened to me three months ago and I still can't walk right. I was at my son's house in Connecticut with my wife, helping my son and his wife take care of their newborn and two other kids. Well, as I came down the stairs in my slippers, (why do they call them slippers?....duhh) carrying my five month old grandson, I slipped on the bottom or second step and landed on my right leg. Luckily, thank God, the baby is fine, but, my right leg was bent under me and I heard a snap! I tore the tendon above my knee and the pain was intense.

YEP definately have done it more than once. Maybe even more than 10 times lol. I remember when a friend came round and she fell down my stairs too lol . my stairs are quite steep as well. It is so painful though falling downstairs!! I think i have fallen down stairs mostly by accidently not stepping on the first step but the second and then go down the stairs on my bum lol . My brother never falls donw the stairs like that BUT when he does he breaks his arm his back or something and needs to go hospital lol. he even fell off just 2 steps off the bottom of the stairs but still broke his arm!! either he got badluck, fragile bones or falls wierdly in a way he will hurt himself!!

That also happened to me last night, but it was at home. I was in hurry that time, and i forgot that to step the next step of the stairs and i was out balance and fell down. My husband was shocked of what happened coz he heard me scream and loud sound. I think i was so daft that time.

when i was little i had the habit of running on pavement in flip flops. i would run very fast and one day it caught up with me. i was outside my moms office and i was running into the building when my sandals got stuck and i went flying through the air. the left side of my face looked like taco meat. i didn't have any skin on it. luckily i didn't scar but it was pretty traumatic for me
