Have you ever tried Sushi? Did you like it? I have always wanted to try it but I'm really scared I won't like it at all. What is the best kind of sushi for a newbie to try? I would like to try it, but I don't want to scare myself off. Thanks for your comments!

I remember before I was scared of the idea of eating raw fish too so I started with california roll which does not really have raw fish. After that I started eating real sushi and maki and hand rolls. It is awesome. If you like you can put a lot of soya sauce and wasabi to lessen the rawness of the taste. There are also some cooked sushi rolls you can try like my favorite dynamite roll. Goodluck!

I like to take Sushi as my lunch or dinner in the Japanese restaurants.Don't be scard on this kinda food as they are good for health. The materails they used are all come from the deep sea,say some fresh fish like Salmon,Thunnus thynnus, which are less pollution than other river fish. For you newbie,I recommend the Sushi mixed with Japanese and fish, try them with some wasabi, when you get used to them, you can try the whole Sashimi!!Very good!lol

Yes, I like some sushi. I like the shrimp kind, and the California rolls. If you like guacamole you will like the California rolls. Tuna sushi is pretty good too. It really depends on what kind of seafood you like. Sushi has a bit of an unusual taste, and it is aquired, but there is something kind of good about it, probably the sticky rice.

Oh yeah... I love guacamole. I defintely need to try to California Rolls. They sound really good! I don't really like a lot of seafood. Well, I guess I should say, I haven't tried a lot of seafood. I do like shrimp, though. Thanks for the suggestions!

I don't like seafood. I only like the California rolls. I do like them a lot though. They are kind of addicting.

I tried it once and did not like what I tried. My son loves it and finally talked me into trying some things in a Japanese restaurant. I do not think I will ever try it again. The same goes for frog legs
