what kind of character you think is the most important for friend?

most important thing is that i can love his/her company everytime..my frnd accept me as who i m??..i can enjoy every moment of my life with my frnd and can be more comfertable...after all frnds are very expensive part of life. i m belive in making some but good and loyal frnds...not millions!!!!!!!!!

hmm. i want my friend to be a real friend.. you know, that kind of looking at me straight and won't be thinking twice to corect my wrongdoings, a good listener.. and have a heart of telling out about himself/herself....

Hi cherry. Ofcourse a friend need courage to tell the true but he need to be loyal too and never fell jealousy about friends. Need to be always there when you need help. I think that a good friend don't have only one good thing but some kind of things that make he better than anothers persons for us. Cheers and welcome to mylot. For me the most important character of a friend is someone whose never let you down and always there for you in times of problems....Also someone i can lean on... happy mylotters!

I'm thinking about this and the i don't know what specific trait should be the most important. Thinking some more...i think the most important would be loyalty. From the dictionary, loyalty can mean faithful adherence or devoted attachment and affection. A friend must be loyal. Even if i have done something wrong, a friend must not tell others maliciously that his/her friend is sinning. A friend must defend a friend. BUT he/she must not be tolerant of his/her friend's sins or wrong doings. A friend must know how to rebuke, because open rebuke is better than hidden love as said in Proverbs 27:5. A good friend will rebuke, a bad friend would be passive. That's what loyalty means to me.

I believe a true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself. A friend would be the one who would be able to accept me as I am and still bring the best out of me. A true friend would be the one who would stand beside me when all others turn their back to me. A true friend is the one who is sincere to me.... in short "A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature."

a good listener and respects whatever decision you make may it be good or bad. Friends who support you and guide you. An understanding and honest friend is very important.
