I have met Mariah Carey and Ginuwine. I met Mariah Carey during her 'touch my body' single launch in London at selfridges. She looked so pretty just like on TV. I got her signature and she asked how I was doing. Such a great experience. Unfortunately no picture were allowed with her because she didn't have enough time as they were loads of people attending. I met Ginuwine when he was doing a mini concert in a club in Birmingham. I got backstage to get his signature. I'm not one of his no. 1 fan but it was a good opportunity to miss out. Got a picture with him too. Very cute guy he is. So how about you? Any famous celebrities you get to meet upclose before? How was it?

Being a dad of a musician is alright enough :) Yea she is cool. So pretty too like how you see in the videos. She looked sexy. She;s really tall. but i saw her heels were really high. She was nice and sweet. I only got like 10 seconds really upclose with her cos you know it was only when getting her signature. But she managed to ask how i was? And i said im ok thanks. Then I just said she looks so pretty. Then she handed me her autograph and her security guard led me out of the way. Oh well. It was nice.

Yes, because of where I live, I meet them quite often. I have met Ron Pearlman, Kate Beckinsale, Chase Masterson, you name it. Most people that I have met have all been in comic book films and sci-fi television shows.

I've met a lot of local celebrities. Celebrities arent much of a big deal here in our town, people usually just look at them and go their way. Hehehehehe. and i guess that's why a lot of celebrities take their vacation here coz no one bothers them.

My sister saw a few celebrities, there was this one time back when she was in collage i forget there names, but there really popular in the us and they were performing and signing autographs at the collage, and one of my sisters friends was so nervous that she was to shy to ask for an autograph so she asked my sister to go and get one for her, my sister really didn't feel like bothering with getting autographs but she want for her friend, my sister walked over to the spot were the grope was giving the autographs and asked them to please right there autograph for her friend, and then the grope said ok but what about you, and my sister said no thanks, and the grope was so surprised that my sister had no interest in getting there autograph, lol i never did understand why people get so hysterical when they see a celebrity im just like cool whatever i enjoy entertainment and watching actors and i respect there work and stuff, but there human just like we are and when i think of my favorite movie or actor i usually wonder about what kind of person they are, rather then thinking about geting an autographs.

I maybe sound like a geek here but the most uplclose encounter I had with a celebrity is the German legendary director Wim Wenders, by the way if you dont have any idea who he is he's the director of the movie "Der Himmel über Berlin" it is the original "City of Angels" that was remade by the American production. Actually I have been upclose with the Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal he's quite popular I guess.

I met Ginuwine back when his first album came out (North Carolina). I met former Hornet Larry Johnson when I was little (basketball). I met Ray Allen in CT a couple of times (basketball). When I was twelve I met LL Cool J in the lobby of a hotel in CT. He said hello and I almost passed out (I wasn't even a fan...it was just so unexpected)..LOL I met Marques Houston in NC.
I met the Ghanaian actor Van Vicker like 3 times NY/CT. I met Dimitri from "so you think you can dance", I also me Ryan another dancer from the show. - I have pics with both of them.

Hi! I saw many celebs in New York City. I like Broadway shows, and I usually meet the actors up close, especially Denzel Washington (who is very handsome) and Lawrence Fishburne (who is very nice). My aunt who happens to be a doctor who gives consultations to patients in hotels, would take me to some of her patients. Thus, I have met a lot of them, notably Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansson. They're okay but they are better looking in the movies (because of the make-up).

You're lucky to have met Mariah! I would love to meet her, but be afraid I would do something dumb like forget how to speak or faint! LOL Anyway, I have met Michael T. Weiss (The Pretender, Freeway), outside of an off-Broadway theatre when he starred in the play Scarcity. He was totally cool and really handsome up close! I got several pics with him and he spoke with me for a few minutes. I was really more nervous than I thought I would be, I probably could have met with Kristin Johnston too as she was in the same play and she and MTW came out together , but I was too distracted after MTW to think straight! LOL

Among the Indian celebraties I have met Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha a long time ago. In fact this was just after I left school. We had a film studio just near our house and as I kid I would often go there to see the shootings. So I have seen most of the stars at that time. But these two I had a chance to speak to!!!

I have met mostly sports celebs. I have met Patrick Ewing who was hilarious. A lady came up totally oblivious and said in a real dumb way "are you patrick Ewing" and he looks down with this crazy face and says no. I just laughed. I met Nick Anderson, Bobby Mercer, Joe Torre, Tom Glavine (he was really nice also). I ate pizza in Steve Franchise hotel room with his agent lol. I have met skier peekaboo street. I also met some famous fisherman but cant remember his name. Curly Neal came to my highschool one time. Shania Twain was a real snotty *beep* when I met her. I spoke to Derek Jeter, the love of my life, at a game one time and sat just a few rows up from his parents. There are probably a few more but I cant think of them right now.

I met almost everybody from the original Star Trek at conventions back in the 1970's, everybody but William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy. I also met Don Adams from Get Smart in the 1970's. His brother, D*ck Yarmy (forbidden word lol), used to play bridge at the club where my mom worked, and he came in and played one time with his brother. I also met Michelle Kwan and a bunch of other skaters a few years back at Champions on Ice. My sister had gotten tickets and backstage passes at a charity auction! My husband's met a lot of celebrities. He used to work at LA Airport and later at CBS Television city. The nicest person he met was probably Muhammed Ali. He stopped into the bar my husband used to run and there was a huge line of people wanting autographs. He signed and signed and signed until he absolutely had to leave to catch his plane.
One time, when I still lived in LA, I'm pretty sure I saw Michael Jackson driving. Also Bruce Willis disguised in a wig crossing the street (a friend of my husband's used to date him). And I saw Diane Keaton one Christmas when my husband was still working at the airport and my sister and I went there to visit him. That was before you had to be a ticketed passenger to get through security.
Oh yes, and on my honeymoon in Europe I saw the queen of Denmark and in Wales I saw Prince Phillip and Lord Snowdon.
That's about it, I guess. lol

Yeah I met a couple celebrities but I don't view them as being big time or anything like that. I live down south in Miami so they are constantly walking up and down. The two I have actually been in the same vicinity with was Trick Daddy and Bobby Valentino though. They look as crazy in person as they do on television lol.

Good for you. Mariah is really a famous singer worldwide. Even in our country, her works are sure hit. Anyway, I have a couple of celebrities already. But they are all local actors. I have not seen any Hollywood actors. I was so happy as I saw them and they just attract the crowd very fast.

I met Glenn Campbell, and although I never got a picture with him, I did get one with his band members and his manager. We were all staying in the same hotel and my friends and I shared a pizza with his band and manager. The next morning, we passed in the restaurant at breakfast and GC gave us each an autographed picture and thanked us for keeping his band and manager occupied while he went to bed early.

Well the people I have met are really not very significant to me, it's just a couple of old wrestlers from way back... Mad Dog Michon and Randy Savage. I didn't actually meet them, but more 'walked by' them. However, my friend 'sal' works as a sound tech backstage at all the major concerts and she just recently did the VMA's and got to watch from back there, she said while she was standing there that Brit and the 'fuzzy headed' host went cruising by on a golf cart, she said it was all very surreal and I believe it! How cool would that be... :) Oh, she said she also met the Jonas Bros.... but neither of us knew who they were. Think they're a teeny bopper band.
