My son started preschool on Tuesday and today was his first day riding the bus and he did so well. I am happy to get him in to socialize with the other children and he has made some new friends as well.
I was so happy to see him come home with an award for his first day of school. They have a ticket system here which involves each child getting a certain amount of tickets. If they still have all of their tickets they get a reward for being good.
I usually have so many problems with him not wanting to listen at home but, his teacher said he is a little angel and likes to help!

Thats the thing with school children act much diffrently in school than they do at home. I am a mom of 4, ages 13,9,7, and 4. I realised the exact same thing when each of them started preschool and you would think i would learn by my 4th but it still amazed me as to the diffrence when in school compared to home.

My daughter started preschool when she was 3 and then she went again when she was 4 she turned 5 this year and went to kindergarten those years of preschool really helped her she knows her letters and some numbers and can write her own name etc. And her teacher says she is a little sweetheart it is funny how they act differently at home then they do at school.
