What was your experience of 9/11?

Well today marks seven years of the attack on 9/11. I wanted to know what was your experience that fateful day seven years back? I was just returning home from a game of basketball with my friends, I opened the door and saw my whole family crowded around the TV watching the first tower smoking. They were like something hit the tower, some say a bomb exploded in the building (frankly at that time I didn't even know what or where the World Trade Centre was). We were watching it when BHAM! The second plane struck the second tower. Then we the news channels were all on about terrorist attacks and they were showing the people fleeing from the bottom of the building. We watched horror-struck as the two buildings came down one by one... saw the people screaming... And my Dad remarked... "This is the beginning of the end..." What were your emotions/experiences?
