do you wish to see a movie having sad endings

Hi varian! Welcome to mylot! As for your question - I don't like to watch movies with bad endings. I always cry when I watch bad endig in the movie. Guess I'm rather emotional person. So I prefer good endings!

I don't really like it when a movie has a sad ending; I always expect things to resolve themselves and everything to end happily as it's a movie, so when it doesn't I get a bit upset as well! However, at the same time I find a sad ending refreshing, as with a lot of films, particularly big-budget Hollywood ones, you know that they're going to build a happy ending in there; and Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are going to get together; the dying person will recover against all the odds; the person without any money will fulfill their ambitions and make the big time; good will win out over bad; the underdog will have their day; etc. etc..... It's all much too predictable and cheesey. So when they leave a sad, more realistic ending on something often it feels more natural and 'right'.

Well, yes i dont really like movies with sad endings but they are usually the best movies out there. Like alot of bollywood movies are usually sad and about love etc :p and they are really sad but good at the same time.

I prefer happy endings! I hate it when a movie ends bad and leaves me unhappy with the outcome! I will moan and complain about it for a day! Like Jennifer Garners movie Catch and Release. That one really, really irritated me!
