i think the mistress, she has no legal ground, she is there to please the man and she knows it, and were he to tire of her, then ofcourse he would get rid of the woman, a mistress tries very hard to please her man not to question too much lest it anger him and ofcourse never to let the wife know because that would be the end of their relationship. Her relationship with the man consists of a number of stolen hours, as for the wife, her suffering is that of betrayal, the knowledge that her man sleeps with another woman is more than she can bear, she is constantly in doubt of her man's movements because he could say he is at work, when clearly its not working hours but she also has more ground, she can question his movements she has more legal ground and she is in a position to do something about it.

I think the wife. She married him believing it would be only her in his life. The mistress knew there was someone else from the beginning.

Well for me it is the wife because she is trying to make the relationship work... Not knowing that she is already cheated...
