Home sick, how to manage it?

Yes, it sounds childish but I got homesick now. Far away from my home, my lovely families. Usually I go out and have some activities to manage it. But when the time to be alone in the room, so thats the time the homesick come in. MyLotters, do you have any idea to manage it out? or maybe you have some experiences to manage it. Please share it. Thank you.

I feel the same way college but i dont think ill ever get over it, im sure were ever you are you will soon get into not being with your family, thats how life is all the time. You always have to give sacrifices no matter what happens, just hang in there and soon itll pass.

I've felt homesick too even at my age. What I do is try to distract myself by thinking of something else or watching tv or doing something that will reqwuire my full attention and before I know it i would have gotten over my homesickness. Don't nurture the feeling after a while of thinking about home and family and the good times you would be having with them (its nice to let yourself feel how much you miss them for a short while) but then don't well on the feeling because it could get worse. So do something to distract yourself. Good Luck!

Since my work sue me working country to country i have the same feeling about this sometime, but i keep in my mind that i must be focused in my work, to get everything done at the right time, when all my works has done, i watch a movie or listening to music until i get sleep, then suddenly it's time for me to come home
