Now there's a guy who had a long and distinguished career. Mostly remembered for appearing in some classic horror movies, Peter Cushing appeared in all kinds of productions, from "1984" to "Star Wars". What would you say his best film was?

I'd say Star Wars. He is great as Governor Tarkin. Any of the films he played Sherlock Holmes were good too.

Well helloo to you! Being a Brit myself, I just love Mr Cushing and grew up on all those fan freakin tastic Horror Movies of his! I reckon his best movies were...(can't just name one coz I love em all:)
1984 - one of the best books and movies that just sticks with me and made a big impression on me too;) George Orwell is one of my favourtie (yes the UK spelling indeed:) writers and way ahead of his time.
Hammer films - classic horrors and the ones I rate the best.
Hound of the Baskervilles - fab! They don't make horror movies like they used to! Some of the recent movies I've seen and would recommend from the Horror Genre are the "Movies to Die For" series, real gutsy!Long live the Black and White Horror Movies! Hope I've responded well to you. It's been a pleasure. Best regards, Marzi:) (http://stores.ebay.com/MARZIPANS-SWEET-DEALS)
