hahaha..Actually friends, I am gathering ideas here about cooking! We are almost out of ingredients and I cannot go out to buy since I don't drive and for sure we will be able to do food shopping weekend! We have ground pork and I cannot think what to cook! Imagine, I will give it to you, how will you come up with a great food? ( available stuff are carrots, eggs, onions)

hi che, hmmm you make me hungry hey? thinking of the ground pork?well i have some yummy ideas for that. slice the carots in circle form but the uninion, you slice it in a small mix it to the ground pork, then spice it like making "bola bola" the form is abit flat then you fried it till its brown then make a sauce.you can use tamato sauce. after you friedd or its ready you can put in a sauce with the carrots.you can eat it with rice or cook potato.

Hello checapricorn, Alas! I am not really creative when you leave me with nothing or a very limited choice I used to buy whatever I need to cook beforehand and sometimes even if I have many choices to choose, it still makes me undecided on what to cook for the family

Hello checapricorn, Mind you... I didn't even know how to cook when I was single. I started when I got married. It was tough but I managed to learn and be a cook (at least a cook, not yet a good cook maybe...) The first few weeks after getting married, I gave 1001 reasons to my husband why I need to buy outside food (lucky I was busy and he believed me!) and the worst part is that... I bought for him all kind of instant food, ready to cook food with the reason that it makes our lives easier and save a lot of time for someone as busy as me! He bought it!

You could make a meatloaf with it since you have eggs and onions and you could put some carrots around it as well as some onions if you have enough and if you like them as much as I do. You will need a little bit of bread to put in it or if no bread if you have a little bit of oat meal it will do the trick. Now you probably think that the meatloaf will be too greasy, but amazingly enough it might not be. I know I have used it for meatloaf and it wasn't too bad. I also am responding because I want to see what other ideas other members gave you because at times it may be all I have in the house too, to cook. We all have rough times sometimes and we eat what we have and create some good new recipes.

wow!! I am having hard time thinking of what to do with ground pork, eggs, onions and carrots. hahaha!!! As in no other ingredients except those? If there are green beans maybe I could help you cook your ground pork. Maybe the best thing for you to do is cook scrambled eggs and eat it with bread.. ahahaha...I hope you can gather ideas on how to cook ground pork with those ingredients. Good luck.

Hi! If you gave that to me along with the other stuff, I'd turn it into something like "pork burger". I'd chop the carrots finely and throw that in for flavor novelty and for the added nutrition.

well there are a few dishes that I like with minced pork. one of them is steamed minced pork with eggs. Just add beaten eggs to the minced pork and mix well. Add some flavouring, just enough to taste, steam it for about ten to fifteen minutes and it's done. Another way is to marinate the pork with some sauces. Boil a pot of water and add the carrots in. Make little balls with the marinated pork and addthem to the soup. Hope you'll try them out, cheers :)

Ground pork, with eggs and carrots and onions. You can make meat balls out of those stuff, or plainly a spaghetti sauce just include tomato sauce in the list. :)

I couldn't find a recipe with the available list you gave. Maybe you could save this one for later. 18 oz) shortcrust pastry 175 g (6 oz) streaky bacon rinded and minced 1 1/2 lb (700 g) lean pork minced 1 large onion skinned and chopped 350 g (12 oz) sausagemeat 1 level tsp (5 ml) dried sage 2 tsp (10 ml)worcestshire sauce salt and freshly ground pepper 4 hard boiled (cooked) eggs beaten egg to glaze method 1. Roll out two-thirds of the pastry and use to line a 20.5-cm (8-inch) round loose-bottomed cake tin. 2. Mix together the bacon, pork, onion, sausage meat, sage, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Place half the pork mixture in the lined tin. Arrange the eggs over the top and cover with the remaining pork mixture. 3. Roll out the remaining pastry for a lid. Dampen the pastry edges and cover with the lid, sealing the edges well. Trim and finish. Make a slit in the centre and use any pastry trimmings to decorate the top. Brush with beaten egg to glaze. 4. Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) mark 6 for 1 1/2 hours, covering the lid with foil after 30 minutes to prevent browning. 0

i would suggest you to add them all. mince the carrots and onion. then combine the ground pork carrots, onions and egg. its like you're making a burger patty. but it will become "torta" (that's how we call it here in the philippines) by the way, add some salt and pepper to taste! enjoy your meal!

Sometimes when I run out of minced beef, I would add minced pork instead, to spaghetti sauce. Or I would mix it with salt, pepper and beaten eggs, and roll it out to small patties, and fry. Or add salt and pepper to the pork, and use it to stuff aubergines and fried beancurd skin - and steam or fry them.

I woukld make a sort of stir fry with the ingredients. Fry the ground pork. Make some rice to add to the dish. A little water and the veggies. Some spices I am sure you have. I do this a lot with things I find in my house. tasty, cheap, and easy to make quickly too. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

hmmm...sounds yummy really with the peppers we have here! ANyway, thanks for sharing Grandpa B! I will do this next time, LOL! I tried meatballs tonight after reading the first responses!

Is ground pork a bit like mince? I don't think we have that in the UK, but if it is similar to mince, then there is plenty you could do with it. Fry the onions off, fry off the meat, coat in egg then roll in breadcrumbs. Cook them until the breadcrumbs are browned. Serve with gravy and mash, or pasta. Instant meatballs. Alternatively, you could just broil it with the carrots and onions, and serve with potatoes and vegetables. I'd imagine you could make a casserole out of that lot too.

you could make like a meat loaf. my mom used to use half pork/half beef to make meat loafs Another thing would be making like patties and cooking it with the onions and if you have potatos those would be good.

I'd make a meatloaf with it. I've never made meatloaf before but it looks pretty simple. I'll look for a recipe online then just use cream of mushroom for the sauce. I normally eat my meatloaf with ketchup, but today I feel like having cream sauce. Yum!

porkloaf! I make it sometimes instead of traditional meat loaf Simple and staples meat onion egg oatmeal garlic Italian seasoning Mash it all together (the more you bash it around the better it is) Roll it into a loaf and bake it at 450 til it's clear when you poke it. Pour some ketchup over it if you like, but I like a little Buffalo Wing sauce on it.
