I have been doing some research into the subject and I am curious to see what my fellow mylotters think. I mean, there is a whole line of work out there that works to discredit the formed opinion that HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. Any news to the contrary?

I have never seen any research that has been done to prove that HIV does not cause AIDS. I know some people who have HIV never get AIDS.

Could you provide links to the line of work you cite sumpter?
Thanks
Personally I was never aware anybody had ever even asked the question. 'HIV/AIDs' is so often said as one that I guess I've never thought to challenge the notion.
I have to say I'm going to be mightily sceptical of any- and everything you come up with though.

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), is the direct cause of AIDS. HIV attacks the immune system, and the resulting damage is known as AIDS. I've heard of AIDS dissenters, and these people are fools. None of them have any background in researching HIV/AIDS, and their so-called "research" doesn't stand up to peer review.
