everyone keeps talking about getting the economy in better shape. i hope you realize that it is going to take more than 4 years for the president to do that. because if it isn't fixed by next election people are going to be complaining. we have a huge problem and huge problems take time to fix. our taxes are probably going to need to be higher in order to get us out this debt. we can't fix education and economy and everything else without the money. we just might have to eat it before we see anything get better. you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Surely 4 years will not be enough to turn this poor economy around, and we all know this. However, we need to get on the right direction so that in maybe the next 8-10 years or so, we can once again have a surplus. The change of direction is crucial and we have seen nothing but the same for the last 8 years. You see my point?

we live in an impatient society and the pressure will be on for obama. people are going to watching him like a hawk and they are going to expect him to do it in 4 years.

State's rights and soviernty. Minimal federal government. Keep legislation out of the hands of courts and leave it to the legislatures. these 3 are by FAR the biggest issues for me. I want to see a candidate that offers solutions that don't startwith, have in the middle or end with the word "government" (unless it is preceeded by the word "less". I want a candidate who will recognize the constitutional place and original intent of the federal government. And I want to see supreme court judges appointed who are not legislators in judges robes.

The economy and all the little sub branches that go with the economy. I really don't know how much any of the other issues matter to me but, without a good economy nothing else really matters currently. I would like to see the wars start to end well.

Of course the economy, but also the environmental problems we have. Obama has promised that he would give money to help us get more alternative fuels and energy sources, and I think that's very important because we need more energy solutions for our future and the children's future.
