It can be done... Usually the the email address to the phone is the phone number followed by the service provider... Here in U.S., if you have tmobile, your phone's sms address or email address is, ***-***-****@tmomail.net, except without the dash(-) part... Put that in the sent to box & write email like normal... Just remember though, most cell. phones will only support upto 130 - 160 letters, space bar counts as 1 letter... If you're sending sms to smart phones, those smarts phones should have email address of their own just like the regular email address... I have blackberry through tmobile & their smart phone email address looks something like, *.***@tmo.blackberry.net... Smart phone's email address works just like normal regular emails on your computer...

try sending an sms to your email then go to your email check you messages and if you get one try to reply... if it works there you have it. It is possible but it depends on what service provider you have. Personally I think that most service providers don't offer this service so that you have to pay for things like backgrounds and ringtones and what not. Good luck hope this helps!
