I am so angry at myself

So I really messed up now and right now i'm angry at myself. I did not do the second essay because I was so busy with the other classes. So I check my syllabus and I realize that I had forgotten to write that down. That class had that essay to write and then six forums to answer to. I was so disappointed at myself and still am.
But I keep telling myself that I need to do better now and not make the same mistake again. The essays are due every Wednesday so I'm going to work on the next essay over the weekend and then go to my university and use their computers on Monday and turn it in.
There are times when I'm really hard at myself but I little by little I'm learning that everyone makes mistakes.
How hard are you on yourself when something like this happens? Or when you make any other kind of mistakes?

The only way to change is to see what you're doing wrong and to change it. That isn't so much being hard on yourself as being realistic and changing. That's part of being an adult, college student, and eventually an employee.

Yeah I know. I just overlooked one thing. I've been doing everything as good as I can now so that I can get a good grade and not do the same mistake again.

Hi ayumi,
I am very cool in handling situation like that...It's my fault so I will not be mad at me..LOL! I will just learn that I have some weakness about recalling stuff so, I will make a note next time!
I don't pressure myself but I will also exert much effort when I am working on something!

Well it's good that you don't pressure yourself too much. I should probably not pressure myself too much either.

don't be. it is okay to be disappointed and take it as a learning for you to always write things down that are important so you can keep track of them.
mistakes happen and it does happen to me too. i always have been in situations where i forgot something, or i made a mistakes but i always jump right back in. we have to always be ready... and things happen.

Yeah thanks and I always write them down but this time I didn't. It was a careless error and I hope that I don't do it again. But yeah I just have to forget about that and keep going and make sure to do things better than before.

Everyone do commit mistakes, forget things, and are vulnerable in sinning. No need to get so angry about yourself. But learn to forgive and move on. No one will do those things for yourself than yourself. So just start anew.

You just being really hard on yourself. I am going to school to be a psychologist, and social worker and a lot of times i get overwhelmed. Yes somethings are looked over, but with a short discussion with your instructor, things should be cleared up. Most of my instructers are wonderful and will work with you if you are really trying.
