It is nice to have both, good looks and beautiful voice. But God is fair, he will only give one. I am more to liking people who have beautiful voice and that explains how I met my husband. He has such a beautiful voice and can sing very well too. He is not handsome but just average. He used to call me over the phone and his voice alone makes me fall in love with him....damn fool I am..

When you're married to him the looks is no longer relevant. The uglier he is the better. No ladies will take a second look at him and this makes your heart at peace. As long as his pocket is bulging, who cares whether he is the ugliest toad around. lol....

I would prefer both! Thanks! lol...
Actually, I don't think I am that bad at looks, so I would prefer good voice. I don't suppose I have a good voice, like that of an RJ or a VJ - well, they have very good voices... but I don't have such a good voice. I do sing well, but dunno why, when it comes to converstations, the voice is not so good, and especially the recording of my voice is not that good - or telephonic... Some people have such a good voice- for example, my brother's voice is too good on telephones or mobiles and stuff. His voice is like, almost set for being on AIR! lol.
But all are given a well-balanced physiology - and so, I am perfect in my sense. So actually, I don't regret my not-so-good-voice or not-so-good-looks. I'll tag them as not-so-bad-voice and not-so-bad-looks.

I think that it is better to have both a pretty look and a wonderful voice. I love them two in one. But you know, it is not something that we can make it as we are already given by our parents before we were born. lol.

Speaking of beautiful voice, I made a joke days ago about one of my girl student's falling asleep in class. I asked her if it was out of my beautiful voice that made her fall asleep, which sounded like lullaby to her. I asked her in English as I was teaching in an English class. She said "yes", which made me a good laugh...lol. Good day to you, youless.

For me it has to be a pretty look! Because being self conscious that is what I fail mostly on when I am out! Trouble is both can fade and you can lose both with age! I would feel that a pretty look is more attractive and more alluring and would make me far more confident in life and in myself than a wonderful voice.

I don't have both... but if given a choice... i prefer to have a wonderful voice... because a pretty look will fade as one grows older but a wonderful voice will always be there and the voice will even get more and more beautiful as the person ages... aside for that... there are a lot of remedies in the market to make someone more beautiful...

haa..haa...very interesting question..
but.. seriously.. i do find that most of the time when the voice is wonderful..
over the phone.. over the radio... the real person may not as 'good-looking' as i expect them to be...
people say that 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder'...
so, maybe i should not judge...
anyways.. normally i try to see + appreciate the person, rather than looks or voice... so as long as the person is a nice, kind person.. dont really matter he sounds or look like...

hi youless...i have learned to give all that up. it is most important to work on the inside. looks decay, and so does your voice. but how you live will last forever.

Hey youless,
I agree with glinglitter.... outer beauty will not last for long as and by you grow older... But actual beauty which matters is your inner beauty of your soul and heart... The way you lead your life is what matters and if you have a pretty look and a winderful voice then those will be the sparkling icing on the cake.... :-)
Cheers.......... Happy myLotting!!!!!!
